WTW Stooping below SheehanÂ’s level.

Howie's nominees this week areÂ… Larry Northern 59 of Waco or should I say wacko Texas. Really what is it about Waco? First Vernon now this guy. And also Cindy herself.

Court papers identified him as Larry Northern, 59, from nearby Waco. He has been charged with a felony criminal mischief count. Damage to the memorial was estimated at more than $1,500. He was released after posting $3,000 bail, according to court records.

Really I disagree with Cindy on almost every level but come on. When I see our flag even a 59 cent wally world flag on the ground. Well you get the idea. If you support Bush maybe you should actually listen to what he says..

I'm referring to any grieving mother or father, no matter what their political views may be. Part of my duty as the President is to meet with those who've lost a loved one. And so, you know, listen, I sympathize with Mrs. Sheehan. She feels strongly about her -- about her position. And I am -- she has every right in the world to say what she believes. This is America. She has a right to her position. And I've thought long and hard about her position. I've heard her position from others, which is, get out of Iraq now. And it would be -- it would be a mistake for the security of this country and the ability to lay the foundations for peace in the long-run, if we were to do so.

Well put Mr. Bush.

Cindy you have to ask yourself this. Is it really worth it? I know you are grieving but you are also being used. Your husband has filed for divorce. Is that what your son would have wanted? How lucky that you and the old high school sweet heart were married and had a fine son and a long life together. How valuable, IÂ’m not sure you know how lucky you have been.

2 Steve over at Hog on Ice makes the great point that this is the only time you will find liberals upset that someone removed crosses from public land.

3 That guy should get a medal, not a felony charge.

4 Dave the funny thing is Cindy agrees with you. She does't want him chagred.

6 One more intresting note. It seems that while Cindy's group put up the crosses many of the flags were added later by parties from both groups. As far as I can find out. There are two groups of protesters Sheehan's group and the anti-Cindy group. Individuals from both sides were taking some time and paying their respects and reading the names. This area was one of the few places were parties from both sides were able to put aside their differences on the war and actually pay repects and stop screaming at each other.

7 Let's quit making excuses for the attention seeking strumpet. How many know the name of her son. I'm sure she is having so much fun she has forgotten it.

9 I got to thinking about daves comment on the felony charge. While I don't much agree with how this gentelman ran over our flag and find destruction of property a poor way to express yourself I do have a thought on this one Dave: Yes to become a felon over this act is well overkill. Misdemeanor charges I feel would be more appropriate. I think it has to do with the dollar amount of the damages. In ILL anything over 300 is felonious. It seem that in the last 30 years our politicians have been on a mission to make everytthing a felony. For instance Drive by shootings in chicago resulted in unlawful use of a weapon becoming a felony. By unlawful use of a weapon they don't mean to fire it. It's how you transport it. It must be cased and not loaded preferably in the trunk. Uh excuse me Mr. Carjacker while I get in the trunk and load my weapon please. The unintended result is that a hunter who misses one shell and gets checked over by the conservation officer is guilty of a felony. Also law enforcement no longer means serve and protect of even use reasonable judgement. It means enforce and ticket every violation. Thus taking officers judgement away from they. They get thier ass chewed if it is found they used their head. Thus handing the too many of these types of cases to prosecutors who thank God if they have any sense ususlly will work it out with you. But would it not have saved everyone a bunch of time and money if none of this had ever happened or does it just earn more money for states and local counties. too often thse things boil down to just $$$. So whiel I'm sure reducing Drive by shotings in Chicago was certainly a good idea and this all passed very easily overall it sucks air.

10 I think the guy sneezed and lost control of his vehicle. just an accident. Or all the weirdos at the side of the road had him thinking a riot was going on and he served to avoid the people in the road. Or.
