Rusty is Back in Black

I'm back. Thought I would have more time to blog from London, but didn't. I even set up a whole new archive page dedicated to my London trip in anticipation of my reports from the ground. Nope, no time whatsoever.

Who would have thought that pubs and internet cafes closed about the same time?

Anyway, what did I miss?

Dr. Who's Live Nude Girls

Everywhere I go in London I see Dr. Who's time machine, the Tardis. Somebody should have warned me about going into the Tardis because I had no idea The Doctor was such a perv.

Pictures of nude women line the inside of all the phone booths here. Friendly too, since it seems each and every one of them is lonely and/or looking for a good time.

WARNING: Do not encourage your children to use the public phones in central London.

London: Signs of Civilizational Decline

By Dr. Rusty Shackleford from London

The neighborhood we are staying in shows the inevetable decline of Western civilization.

Half the signs are in Arabic. Most of the restaraunts and cafes promise 'halal'--which is the Muslim equivalent of kosher.

Pretty much every one I've met in the shops speak with an accent--and not a British one.

But the key sign that British civilization is in decline?

No Mountain Dew. Anywhere.

Is it any wonder the Empire collapsed?

Chelsea Blue & Budweiser

By Dr. Rusty Shackleford from London

Arrived at the hotel only be be swallowed by a sea of blue. Chelsea Blue.

Apparently there is some sort of sport they play here called football. Very similar to soccer, from what I gather.

Anyway this football team from Chelsea won some big match yesterday. The stadium must be near our hotel because this whole section of town is a sea of blue.

The tube was packed, all blue. The neighborhood was filled with swarms of kids--in blue. At least 10% of the cars going by had Chelsea flags.

This town certainly takes its sport seriously.

But why do all the Chelsea fans seem to be drinking Budweiser? Good lord, have these people no sense of decency!?!?
