The Army of Ansar al Sunnah has released a video showing the gruesome beheading murders of three Iraqi Ministry of the Interior soldiers. The Jawa Report has obtained a copy of the video. Links to graphic images from the video are posted below.
Contrary to popular media reports, this video has been available since June 7th, a day before news was released that the al Qaeda in Iraq leader Abu Musab al Zarqawi was killed.
For instance, the AP claims the video was posted today and uses the video as evidence that the insurgency will not be stopped because of Zarqawi's death. However, I have personally known about the video for several days now, but due to time constraints, have not been able to post it.
Here is a portion of the AP report which is clearly misleading and based on a false set of facts. AP:
Insurgents signaled the fight is still on after Abu Musab al-Zarqawi's death, posting an Internet video Saturday showing the beheading of three alleged Shiite death squad members in revenge for killing Sunnis. The AP report does, though, get the details of the video right: more...The video as grisly as any the al-Qaida in Iraq leader issued was clearly designed to quash hopes that the Sunni-dominated insurgency might change tactics by ending attacks on Shiite civilians and institutions, especially the police.

As Traderrob notes (hat tip & thanks for the image): Dropping like flies, just a matter of time before we nail the big one. And by 'the big one' he means al Qaeda in Iraq's Abu Musab al-Zarqawi.
“The anti-terrorism unit arrested the terrorist Ahmed Hussein Dabash Samer Al Battawi on Monday in the Firdos district in the capital Baghdad,” the statement said.Battawi confessed after he was arrested that he had “chopped off the heads of hundreds of innocent Iraqis” in Baghdad and other parts of the country, said the statement.

dr. shackleford, you have done much more for the blogs than i have - for which, thanks -, nevertheless may i put to you that those of us that regularly take the msm to task for their dreadful misdeeds ought to make sure our own produce is written to standards waaaaaay above theirs. this should not be difficult, and would require a little bit more than just a link from the msm to serve as authority for the unlikely quote from mr batawi that you posted above.

A gruesome beheading video delivered to the Sunday Times purporting to be of slain journalist Atwar Bahjat is a hoax. On Sunday, May 7th, the Times reported that they had received a low-quality video of Atwar Bahjat being slowly beheaded. That video is now being circulated on the internet as the "Atwar Bahjat" beheading video.
The Jawa Report can reveal that the Times and Halal Jabar, the author of the article, are victims of a hoax. The video actually shows the gruesome murder of a Nepalese man by the Army of Ansar al-Sunna in Iraq from August of 2004. The man was one of 12 victims executed by the terrorist organization--the other 11 were shot (original story, video, and images of 12 Nepalese murdered in Iraq here).
The Times describes the Nepalese murder video precisely. However, the video delivered to the Times was actually a low-quality version of a much higher quality film originally made by Ansar al-Sunnah. The Times video also is edited to exclude the murder of the other 11 hostages.
The Army of Ansar al-Sunna has murdered dozens of civilians in Iraq. The organization is an offshoot of the Army of Ansar al-Islam--a Kurdish Islamist organization. The group routinely murders those suspected of collaborating with the U.S. and Iraqi governments. Before the group murders their hostages they accuse them of 'apostasy', a crime punishable by death under Islamic law. They therefore justify their murders as 'executions' for 'crimes' committed against Islam.
Halal Jabar describes the video in the Sunday Times, but leaves out that you can hear the victim gasping for breath through the hole in his severed neck:
By the time filming begins, the condemned woman has been blindfolded with a white bandage.Greyhawk tipped us to the possibility that the video delivered to the Times was not authentic. This image from Getty shows the corpse of Bahjat, apparently shot by terrorists, in February. It is stained with blood that trickles from a wound on the left side of her head. She is moaning, although whether from the pain of what has already been done to her or from the fear of what is about to be inflicted is unclear. ...
A large man dressed in military fatigues, boots and cap approaches from behind and covers her mouth with his left hand. In his right hand, he clutches a large knife with a black handle and an 8in blade. He proceeds to cut her throat from the middle, slicing from side to side.
Her cries — “Ah, ah, ah” — can be heard above the “Allahu akbar” (God is greatest) intoned by the holder of the mobile phone.
Even then, there is no quick release for Bahjat. Her executioner suddenly stands up, his job only half done. A second man in a dark T-shirt and camouflage trousers places his right khaki boot on her abdomen and pushes down hard eight times, forcing a rush of blood from her wounds as she moves her head from right to left.
Only now does the executioner return to finish the task. He hacks off her head and drops it to the ground, then picks it up again and perches it on her bare chest so that it faces the film-maker in a grotesque parody of one of her pieces to camera.
Soon afterward, jihadi forums began to circulate the phony video. Thanks to Baf Baf for much of the legwork in helping figure out which video the hoax had been made from.
The Times reported that the film was delivered to them by Sunni insurgents and said that it had been found on the mobile phone of a dead Shia militant. The article erroneously tries to blame Bahjat's murder on Shia militias, and uses the false video as evidence of growing civil strife in Iraq.
The video, in fact, actually shows an "infidel" being murdered by a Sunni Salaafist terrorist organization with ties to al Qaeda. Related from Jeff Goldstein on why this matters. Neo-neocon as well.
Earlier report: The Bloody Murder of Muslim Jouralist Atwar Bahjat
Here is a link to the original video being circulated on jihadi discussion boards as the Atwar Bahjat beheading video (WARNING: VERY GRAPHIC). Disgusting, cruel, and graphic images from it are posted below.
----
UPDATE: Just for the sake of clarity, Bahjat was murdered in a cruel way. The fact that this video is a hoax should not distract us from that fact. Whoever murdered her deserves the severist punishment available. [And by 'hoax' I do not mean to imply the video is fake, only its attribution. For some reason some Islamist scumbag thought it would be funny/scary/useful to send out an old video and label it 'Bahjat'.]
----
UPDATE 2: Al Arabiya (Arabic) is now confirming the tape was a hoax (via Abu Aardvark).
----
UPDATE 3: Ogrish now reporting same.
----
UPDATE 4: Here is a translated version of the al Arabiya article. Bahjat was a reporter for al Arabiya. It claims that the Atwar Bahjat hoax video is for sale on CD-ROM on the Baghdad streets:
It was published this tape in Arabic forums on the Internet, as well as news of the British newspaper quoted several Arab newspapers. The sources also stated that the tape recording sold on CD-ROM in the streets of Baghdad.----
UPDATE 5: I don't know how I overlooked this, but apparantly The Jawa Report's Mike Pechar had been on this from the beginning. From our February post on Atwar Bahjat's murder:
Their bullet-riddled bodies were found by their vehicle near the town of Dawr. Notably, by all indications, these journalists were specifically targeted.----
Why do we show these images? So you can see the cruel and barbaric deeds of the enemies we fight in Iraq and around the globe.
The Western press has no problem with showing you the misdeeds of U.S. soldiers in Iraq--misdeeds that are punished--but will not show you what our enemies are like. The hypocrisy of a media which has no problem characterizing prisoner abuse as 'torture'--- and endlessly publishes photos of a woman laughing at nude prisoners---but refuses to show you what our enemies routinely do to prisoners. Torture them, murder them, and behead them.
WARNING: DO NOT PROCEED. GRAPHIC IMAGES. more...

Sickening
Via The London Times Online :Nobody but her killers knew just how much she had suffered until a film showing her death on February 22 at the hands of two musclebound men in military uniforms emerged last week. Her familyÂ’s worst fears of what might have happened have been far exceeded by the realityÂ….
...We now know that it was not that swift for Bahjat. First she was stripped to the waist, a humiliation for any woman but particularly so for a pious Muslim who concealed her hair, arms and legs from men other than her father and brother.
Then her arms were bound behind her back. A golden locket in the shape of Iraq that became her glittering trademark in front of the television cameras must have been removed at some point — it is nowhere to be seen in the grainy film, which was made by someone who pointed a mobile phone at her as she lay on a patch of earth in mortal terror.
By the time filming begins, the condemned woman has been blindfolded with a white bandage.
It is stained with blood that trickles from a wound on the left side of her head. She is moaning, although whether from the pain of what has already been done to her or from the fear of what is about to be inflicted is unclear...
...A large man dressed in military fatigues, boots and cap approaches from behind and covers her mouth with his left hand.
The voice of one of the Arab worldÂ’s most highly regarded and outspoken journalists has been silenced. She was 30....
...I found it hard enough to bear the news of her murder. When I saw it replayed, it was as if part of me had died with her. How much more gruelling it must have been for a close family friend who watched the film this weekend and cried when he heard her voice.
The friend, who cannot be identified, knew nothing of her beheading but had been guarding other horrifying details of BahjatÂ’s ordeal. She had nine drill holes in her right arm and 10 in her left, he said. The drill had also been applied to her legs, her navel and her right eye. One can only hope that these mutilations were made after her death.
Also see the Mudville Gazette who adds:
Regardless of which side in the conflict killed her (and I have my own thoughts on that - in the eyes of her killers her greatest crime was most likely being a woman outside of a kitchen) the London Times reporter can't resist a mild apology for their act:Blue Crab Boulevard says :Just as Bahjat bore witness to countless atrocities that she covered for her television station, Al-Arabiya, during IraqÂ’s descent into sectarian conflict, so the recording of her execution embodies the depths of the countryÂ’s depravity after three years of war.In truth, it represents a depth of depravity achieved over centuries. From the description, her killers hadn't just conceived or improvised their method execution on the spot - they seem to have been well practiced. But such is the nature of the enemy in this war, and perhaps this is their most sacred and well honed knowledge: if a brutality can be inflicted that exceeds all human ability to comprehend, the humans will find a way to deny it
This is the face of evil itself. That the monsters choose to hide behind masks shows how deeply depraved and cowardly they really are. We must remember we are at war. Or that face will show itself again and again.Robert Spencer at Jihad Watch chimes in with the following:
Anyone who thinks that God's greatness is established by such acts of barbaric cruelty must be resisted at all costs.I want to add one thought. I know this is a horrid thing. IÂ’ve seen several of these things and they turn my stomach. I dread having the even think of it. But this video should be released as respectfully and responsibly as possible. Hard to do I know, but the public must be shown this evil. Otherwise how are they to know the truth. Also I have an all too realistic awareness of what the threat below really means. We don't want to release it but we feel we have to release it. The Jawa Report will bring you updates if and when it becomes available. Our prayers go out to Atwar Bahjat and her family.

The high-production value video warns Muslims against cooperating with 'apostate' regimes, such as Pakistan's Pervez Musharraf and praises violent jihad. The video quotes the Quran and sayings of the Prophet Muhammed to justify the killing of what are allegedly highway robbers and other common criminals. It shows their mutilated bodies being displayed as a warning to crowds of people. The underlying warning is that the same fate awaits those who would cooperate with secular regimes which will not implement harsh Sharia (Islamic) law.
Yale University has recently admitted a former top Taliban official. The images below are shocking and disgusting. We post them to help the reader become acquainted with the tactics of the Taliban. The video boasts of the beheadings. It boasts that this is what the Taliban are doing.
This is what Islamic law looks like in practice. These are the enemies we are fighting in Afghanistan. This is what the 'insurgents' in Iraq would like to do if they ever came to power. These are the 'freedom fighters' lauded by the Left.
WARNING: GRAPHIC IMAGES BELOW. DO NOT PROCEED IF UNDER 18. DO NOT PROCEED IF YOU DO NOT WISH TO SEE WHAT OUR ENEMIES ARE CAPABLE OF. DO NOT PROCEED IF YOU DO NOT WISH TO THINK ABOUT WHAT WOULD BECOME OF OUR ALLIES IF WE WERE TO ABANDON THEM. more...

Fahmi is reportedly a foreigner of Egyptian and Palestinian descent who was captured two months ago in Baghdad on a tip from a resident.
The Japanese embassy in Tokyo has unofficially confirmed the story, although the investigation into the veracity of the confession is still being made.
It is people like Hussein Fahmi that makes us hope that there is a hell. If you have seen the Shosei Koda beheading video or images from it, you will pray that there is a hell too. Koda was in Iraq as a tourist, and ended up a victim of Islamist brutality.
In related good news via Traderrob, 61 al Qaeda suspects have been arrested near Fallujah. Let's hope Abu Musab al Zarqawi is next to be captured. more...

Disturbing video footage of beheaded bodies being paraded through the streets of southern Pakistan, in front of powerless police, has been broadcast today in Afghanistan. And it looks like some Hamas members aren't too happy with the new 'moderate' position, opting instead to join al Qaeda.Tolo TV, a private Afghan network, said that the men were killed a month ago in the tribal district of South Waziristan as a punishment for their opposition to the Taleban and al-Qaeda militias.
It would not reveal the source of the footage, whose authenticity has not been verified.
In one segment of the film, three decapitated heads are held up to cheers from a gathered crowd. Later, a number of bodies are seen being dragged behind a pick-up truck.
Crowds are heard chanting "long live Osama bin Laden" and "long live Mullah Omar", respectively the leaders of al-Qaeda and the Taleban.

And when we mention torture, we mean real torture. And when we say murder, we mean it in its literal sense--intentionally killing another human being.
More often than not, when the Left speaks of torture, they mean a practice which they find disdainful. What they deem torture is often an act of abuse. While both may be immoral, torture and abuse are a far cry from one another.
Further, when the extreme Left (which certainly does not include most American liberals or Democrats) characterizes the unintended killing of civilians by American military actions murder, they are really describing a type of homicide which is not murder.
While losing a child (God forbid) to any act of negligience is terrible, it is far more terrible to lose a child to an intentional act of homicide--a murder. For example, one might find forgiveness for the police officer who accidentally runs into your car, killing your loved one, while in hot pursuit of a serial murderer. However, it would be far harder to make peace with the serial murderer who the officer is pursuing if your child was one of his victims.
Further, whenever real examples of murder or torture by an American soldier is brought out, it is always discovered after the military has instituted its own investigation into the matter or only after the military has brought criminal charges against the responsible party.
Compare that to the very real acts of torture and murder by the Saddam Hussein regime. These acts of torture were not random acts by soldiers out of control. Murder and torture were the policy of the Baathist state. It was institutionalized torture. It was systematic murder.
In the spirit of previous posts done at this site, we bring you a series of graphic images captured from home movies taken by Fedayeen Saddam soldiers. From time to time we need to be reminded why we fight, and these horrible and gruesome images serve that purpose.
The videos they were captured from can be downloaded at the Foundation for the Defense of Democracy's website here. Hat tip to Pajamas Media who quote the FDD President as saying:
These images are brutal and disturbing – they are not intended for all audiences. But for those who want to understand the evils of the Saddam regime, and especially for anyone inclined to excuse or minimize the crimes committed, these videos demonstrate that Saddam was a ruthless mass murderer and a threat to all humanity.Indeed.
Graphic images follow.

Well, I'm ready to get rid of whoever is in office who couldn't see their way clear to pointing out such utter nonsense, not so much because the folly itself offends me, but because it offends the very principles of the nation that I consider my own, not to mention civilization itself. I mean, did anyone tell Arlen or the half-wits that stood silently behind the old coot that the Federalist Papers were anonymous? Huh?
Jesus H. Christ!
And yeah, Arlen, I do mean to offend you... you foolish old twit! Although I could hardly do as good a job of it as you've done yourself. Apparently the damage done by mercury-amalgam fillings is irreversible.

Seattlepi : KANDAHAR, Afghanistan -- Taliban militants beheaded a teacher in a central Afghan town while his wife and eight children watched, officials said Wednesday, describing the latest in a string of attacks targeting educators at schools where girls study. Four men stabbed Malim Abdul Habib eight times late Tuesday before decapitating him in the courtyard of his home in Qalat, said Ali Khail, a spokesman for the provincial government of Zabul, where the attack took place.
Oh in front of his children. What a pious considerate bunch these Taliban.
Zabul province's education director, Nabi Khushal, blamed Taliban rebels for the killing. "Only the Taliban are against girls being educated," he said. "The Taliban often attack our teachers and beat them. But this is the first time one has been killed in this province." Cleric Sayed Omer Munib, a member of the nation's top Islamic council, said there was no justification in Islam's holy book, the Quran, to prevent girls from studying. "Nowhere in the Quran does it say that girls do not have the right to education," he said. "It says that 'people should be educated.' This means girls, too."
How brave of the Taliban to murder a teacher of girls. Typical of men who cannot see the added value an educated woman brings. Probably illiterate themselves and thatÂ’s why they follow a one-eyed idiot.

In the over 8 minute video, two masked terrorists hold guns to the victim's head and force him to confess to 'collaboration' and 'apostasy'. The victim warns others not to collaborate with the 'apostate' government of Iraq. Such confessions are routine in these Islamic snuff videos and provide legitimacy to the terrorist murders. Under Islamic law apostasy is punishable by the death penalty.
The hostage is then taken outside, in the dark, where he is shot by one of the terrorists with a pistol. I have sent the video to Bareknucklepolitics where portions of it may be seen here.
Here is the SITE report:
Ansar al-Sunnah issued an 8:30 minute video with a statement today, December 1, 2005, announcing the execution of an Iraqi guard for al-Jaderiya jail, Nasser Hadi Ali, who was charged with spying on the mujahideen and arresting imams and worshippers at mosques as part of a commission with the Iraqi Ministry of Interior. The group claims that Ali had formerly aided the mujahideen, transporting their weapons, but he was “brainwashed” by the government.Images from the video may be found at SITE. and at ITB.The video depicts Nasser Had Ali seated blindfolded between two masked men carrying firearms as he “confesses” to the allegations levied against him. He is subsequently shot several times, according to “Allah’s order… to serve as an example for others.”

Visual evidence suggest that the victim may have been killed first, and then beheaded later. UPDATE: The video may be downloaded here.
This should serve as a reminder that beheading those deemed 'infidels' and 'apostates' has a long tradition in Islamic culture and in Palestine. For instance, a recent photo taken by Michael Totten (scroll down) in Hezbollah controlled Lebanon three feet from the Israeli border of a large public sign glorifying the beheading of an Israeli soldier. The written message facing the Israeli checkpoint serves as a warning to the IDF.
In related news, jorors in the Sami Al-Arian case in Florida still are deliberating on the charges that the former college professor funneled money to the Palestinian Islamic Jihad organization. The same group responsible for this video. Predictably, Leftists at ZNet defend al-Arian because of his 'good character' and cite Islamic Jihad's charitable work. As if terrorists and their supporters are puppy killers and opposed to charity.

Foxnews: Zarqawi made clear he was not about to stop the bloodshed, warning he will attack more tourist sites in Jordan and threatening to behead King Abdullah II. He said he was targeting Jordan because it is serving as a "protector" for Israel, helps the U.S. military in Iraq and has become a "swamp of obscenity," with alcohol and prostitution in its tourist sites. "Your star is fading. You will not escape your fate, you descendant of traitors. We will be able to reach your head and chop it off," al-Zarqawi said, referring to the king.I think Zaqueery is serious eh Murtha?

CENTCOM:An al-Qaeda terrorist cell leader who personally assisted in at least three videotaped beheadings and his assistant were killed during a Coalition raid of a suspected safe house in Mosul Oct. 22. Nashwan Mijhim Muslet (aka Abu Tayir or Abu Zaid) was a senior operational al-Qaeda in Iraq terrorist cell leader who operated specifically in the Mosul area. His cell was known as the primary beheading cell for Abu Talha, the al-Qaeda in Iraq Emir of Mosul who was captured in June, 2005, and Abu Zubayr, second in command to Talha and later Emir of Mosul after Talha was detained. Zubayr was killed in August, 2005.
Good riddance I can only hope it was a slow and painful death and he was very aware he was dying the whole time. Click for photos of his ugly mug and his buddy below.

The Army of Ansar al-Sunnah, a well-known terrorist organization in Iraq with ties to Abu Musab al-Zarqawi's al Qaeda forces, has released a video in which two hostages are beheaded. The Jawa Report has obtained a copy of the video. Gruesome images from the video are posted below (WARNING: GRAPHIC IMAGES BELOW).
The two innocent civilians are identified as Shaker Mahmoud Jassim and Riyadh Najim Abdullah. The timestamp on the video indicates it was made on September 12th of this year, but the video was not uploaded to the internet until today.
As in all such videos, the terrorists first force the victims to 'confess' to various crimes before they are murdered. Pronouncement of guilt is made on the victims under Islamic law. Thus, the murder and torture done by the terrorists is legitimized in the eyes of radicals as the legal execution of criminals for crimes against Islam. The beheading is done with a knife, is slow, and very painful.
Jassim is forced in the video to 'confess' that he works for the U.S. Army as an informant. As in all jihadi videos, American forces are portrayed as tools of a wider Jewish conspiracy.
The AP reports that Jassim urges in his 'confession':
I call on everyone who works with the Jews and the Americans to repent to God and leave this job.

"We have become slaves to money," he said before he was taken outside and decapitated.SITE reports that the video also warns:
That those who do not “come back to your religion and repent” will also be slaughtered. As Abdullah's head is placed on his back, the camera panned to a sign that read in Arabic: "Go to hell, this is a revenge for our brothers".
The Army of Ansar al-Sunna is an offshoot of The Army of Ansar al-Islam, a Salafist terror organization with roots in Kurdish Iraq. After the fall of the Hussein Regime, the former leader of Ansar al-Islam, Musab al-Zarqawi, took foreign elements to found Tawhid and Jihad--later pledging loyalty to Osama bin Laden and changing the name, once again, to al Qaeda in the Land of Two Rivers (Mesopotamia, or Iraq). Ansar al-Sunnah and al Qaeda are believed to operate seperately now, but occasionally announce collaboration with one another.
This is the first beheading video in many months. These types of videos are propaganda meant for domestic purposes. The reason the terrorists in Iraq stopped producing beheading murder videos, and instead turning to videos of IED and other attacks on U.S. forces, is because they believed that they were doing more harm than good. Such videos tend to turn off the great mass of the Iraqi people, and especially Sunni Muslims on whom the terrorists depend for support and anonymity.
This video can only mean one thing: the terrorists have run into a wall in Iraq, they feel they must resort to threatening the population once again. The terrorists are slowly but surely losing.
Graphic images from the video below:
WARNING: PROCEED AT OWN RISK.
Why show these images? This is the true face of the so-called insurgents in Iraq. They are nothing more than terrorists scum who have a vision for Iraq similar to that of the Taliban in Afghanistan. They are waging jihad not only against Americans, but against Iraqis. Most media outlets will not show you what the terrorists are actually doing in Iraq. We will. more...

UPDATE: After giving this some thought, let me clarify what I mean by 'context'.
Two films, the exact same footage, but different voice overs. Both show holocaust images. The first film praises 'the final solution' with commentary on Jews meeting their just end. The second film comments on the evil nature of antisemetism and the inhumanity of the Nazi regime.
Images, alone, convey no meaning. Meaning is conveyed by context. Context matters.
So, should this person go to jail? Not for 'shocking' some one else. Not if the context was, "look at what the bastards we are fighting in Iraq, you know, Cindy Sheehan's freedom fighters, are really doing." Give Younis a medal.
But, if the context of the conversation was 'look at this infidel pig getting his head cut off, praise Allah" then, yes, the person should go to jail. For a long time. Not for 'shocking' someone else, but for treason. more...

Cindy Sheehan's freedom fighters at it again.......
Fighters have executed 15 Iraqis after ambushing their vehicle on a road north of the city of Falluja, police said.No jihadi group has yet claimed the murders. The armed men ordered the passengers out of the vehicle and lined them up before shooting them in daylight on Sunday afternoon, police on Monday quoted witnesses as saying.
They did not specify whether the victims were civilians or off-duty security personnel but said they were believed to be from the neighbouring town of Saqlawiyah, in the Sunni Triangle.
Pools of blood covered the scene of the attack on the desert road, next to empty cases of pistol and AK-47 machine gun bullets, suggesting that the victims were shot from close range, an AFP correspondent reported.
The road was blocked for nearly 10 hours until tribesmen from the neighbouring Sunni town of Ramadi removed the bodies, police added.

Jamal ‘Amir, editor in chief of the Yemenite independent weekly Al-Wasat said armed men blindfolded him, pushed him into a vehicle and took him to a remote location near the capital ‘Sana.Just armed thugs, right? Maybe al Qaeda? They beat him and threatened to cut off his tongue or to kill him and behead him, the London-based Al-Hayyat reported. He was released more than four hours later….
The assailants, dressed in plain clothes but driving a vehicle with military license plates, beat Amer and threatened to kill him. They warned Amer that his childrenÂ’s safety would be threatened if he continued with his investigative reporting or reported his abduction to the authorities. Reports say the assailants condemned Amer for writing on corruption within the government and interrogated him about other writers and editors at Al-Wasat.

Iraqi security forces discovered the bodies of eight beheaded men Friday in two villages north of Baghdad, army officers said. And from the book I am currently in the process of defiling:Six of the bodies belonged to Shiite farmers taken from their home in Hashmiyat, 10 miles west of Baqouba, by an armed group wearing Iraqi army uniforms late Thursday, army Capt. Hashim Amer said.
They were discovered more than a mile away from the house.
"All the corpses were dumped in a deserted area, and the knife which was used to slaughter them was placed near one of the bodies," Amer said.
The other two bodies were found in al-Nahrawan district, about 12 miles southwest of Baqouba, army Maj. Fadhil al-Timimi said.
5:33-“The punishment of those who wage war against Allah and His Messenger, and strive with might and main for mischief through the land is: execution (by beheading), or crucifixion, or the cutting off of hands and feet from opposite sides, or exile from the land: that is their disgrace in this world, and a heavy punishment is theirs in the Hereafter;”
8:12- “I will instill terror into the hearts of the unbelievers: smite ye above their necks and smite all their finger-tips off.”
47:4- “Therefore, when ye meet the Unbelievers (in fight), strike off their heads; at length; then when you have made wide Slaughter among them, carefully tie up the remaining captives”: thereafter (is the time for) either generosity or ransom: Until the war lays down its burdens.”

Baghdad, 23 June (AKI) - US Marines have found manuals on taking hostages and decapitation during a raid on a guerrilla hideout in the Iraqi village of Karabla, near the town of Qaim, close to the Syrian border. The Arab newspaper Al-Sharq al-Awsat reports that in the hideaway the troops also found several hostages who were being held there by Islamic militants. The hiding place was being used as a centre for the interrogation and torture of hostages, and contained electrodes and other instruments of torture.Who are the barbarians Sen Durbin? The manuals found were used as Jihad (Holy War) handbooks. The first was titled: "How to choose the best hostage", the second covered decapitation and was called: "Rules for cutting off the heads of infidels", and the third manual, "principles of the philosophy of the Jihad", was more theoretical.
The three documents, the last of which is 574 pages long, carry the name Abdel Rahman al-Aliya, which the newspaper says is probably a cover name to hide the identity of the real author. The hideout - in the volatile western Anbar province which has been the scene of fierce fighting between insurgents and the US-led forces - is believed to have been used by the group led by the Jordanian militant Abu Musab al-Zarqawi. He is credited with introducing the practice of decapitation to the activities of the Jihadist movement.
