But Rusty, you say, I don't believe in your Sabbath day observance mumbo and/or jumbo.
Just remember folks, blogs were made for bloggers and not bloggers for the blog. more...

Regular readers know why I blog anonymously. I would like to keep things that way. Here's what I need to do, but don't know how to do it.
a) set up a pay-pal and amazon honor account, but do it in such a way that would protect my privacy. I don't even want my city to be seen by those donating. Yes, I'm that paranoid.
b) get a blog ads thingy going. I cannot, for the life of me, figure out how to start with blog ads.
All this because I want a little bit of that crazy blog money I keep hearing about!

Wake up. You are just one more "little Eichmann" who is day by day destroying our freedoms and drawing this country closer to its destruction. And we wonder why people like Ahmed Omar Abu Ali feel justified in planning the murder of our President?Pay back is a bitch.
UPDATE: I'll contribute that as my Exhibit A in refuting Ted Rall's stupid assertion that the Right is meaner than the Left. Since that is a reader comment from TODAY, I'll take it as qualifying for his challenge.
Others taking up the challenge:
John Henke's comments: "I hope you all die, die painfully."
Decision '08 finds this nugget: "'an event like this [the assassination of Bush] could be just what this country needs'."
Polipundit has this from Dick Gephardt:“[Bush has] declared war on the American people.”
John Hawkins has a photo at an anti-war protest which reads:"We support our troops when they shoot their officers."

Pal Talk is the online forum which Hossam Armanious, a Coptic Christian, would discuss theology with members of the Religion of Peace. It's also the place where death threats were issued against him. Many now suspect the murder of Hossam Armanious, his wife, and two daughters were related to those chats.
Does any one have access to Pal Talk? For all I know I'm getting compliments on my Gannon related satire and not on my criticisms of Islam.
Maybe somebody could let me know what they're saying about the Jawa over there? I have no idea how to use the service.
And if I have finally had a fatwa issued against me, let me just say, it will be time for some serious cowbell !!!

While your thinking about the deep significance Gannongate has on the structural dominance embedded in the pseudo-imperialist capitalism of the right-wing military-industrial MSM, why not pay Goldstein a visit and give him some cash? No cash? Why not do him a solid and click on some of his advertisors?
And if you have any questions for Jeff Gannon you might want to drop them in Ace's comments. Now that is going to be a post in need of some Gannon-bell!!

What better way to celebrate White Trash Wednesday than to share this vidcap I took of the lost Star Wars incest episode of Jerry Springer? Jerry interviews galactic white trash, Luke and Leia Skywalker. Sparks fly as Jerry brings Leia's secret lover, Han Solo, on to the stage to confront Luke in a battle for Leia's heart.
Classic Springer. Classic white trash.
UPDATE: Jerry Springer, Luke, and Leia now speak on today's news and blogosphere events. If you would like Jerry, Luke, or Leia to comment on one of your posts, just link this post and send a trackback. If you are not trackback enabled, drop me a line.
Luke Skywalker on Hincheypalooza:"Right! Next you'll be telling us that Darth Vader is our father."
Jerry Springer on effigy maker Steve Pearcy:"Do they have an agent? We're doing a confrontations show: Effigy Makers Meet US Soldiers."
Jerry Springer on "intersex" individuals:"Where can I find some for a show?"

Markos 'Screw Them' Zuniga takes offense at the above advertisement by USA Next running at The American Spectator, former home of one David Brock--the man who owns Media Matters and employs a number of prominent left-wing bloggers.*
Apparently his readers take offense, too, and he has inspired a number of 'clever' photoshops. The America(it's all about the gay cock)blog actually has a funny photoshop (inspired by Atrios) and is the least offensive. Dohiyi Mir and Suburban Nomad so 'cleverly' comes up with a photoshop of Bush's 'real agenda' of torturing prisoners at Abu Ghraib and stomping out the Constitution, inspired, no doubt by Kos' use of the word fascist to describe the GOP today.
I, on the other hand, propose this less offensive photoshop that Kos, Atrios, and Media Matters in general has inspired.
UPDATE: Kevin Drum and Digby chime in on those Swift Boat liars. (via Meme Random)
UPDATE II: James Joyner has a good run-down on the controversy.
*For the record the banner ad is pretty lame and inflamatory. But mostly it's just gay.

Former Talon News writer Jeff Gannon has threatened to sue the liberal groups and blogs who exposed his lack of credentials, Newsweek said Monday....Was this a political assassination? Yes. Is there cause for a lawsuit? I don't think so.Gannon told Newsweek he was the victim of a "political assassination" committed by groups like Media Matters for America, a cyberspace watchdog organization founded by former investigative journalist David Brock, and is considering bringing suit against them, though the group does not seem concerned.
"Everything we wrote about him came from the public record," Brock said.
Reporting that Guckert was a gay prostititue, that's a fact. Reporting that he was a schill, that's an opinion. You can't sue because some one has a poor opinion of you.
