You folks might be interested to know from whence hails My Pet Jawa's cuddly, loveable troll who calls itself "Downing Street Memo". Well, if you read the title of this post, I gave the game away.
His IP address tracks back to Seoul. Seoul, South Korea, a free and prosperous democracy, thanks to... whom?
He's free to type his anti-American BS rants right now because of a little "police action" in Korea back in the early 50's that killed a hell of a lot of great Americans. The American soldier went halfway around the world and saved his country from Communist tyranny and even now our men are staring down gibbering nutbar Kim Jong Il, held hostage to Kim's vast arsenal of artillery that could reduce Seoul to rubble in a matter of hours.
Freedom and American liberation are good enough for Korea, of course, but not for Iraq. Pull up the ladder, says DSM.
Of course, Seoul is also riddled with North Korean agents. Maybe DSM is one of these, spewing out dear psychopathic leader Kim Jong Il's vile propaganda with all his trademark subtlety and charm? Guess what, Downy, whether you're Kim's spy or just his stooge, we can't tell the difference in your insane blather. It's counterproductive anyway.
If you have any sense of shame you'll just slink away.

The hilarious thing is: if you go back through old newspapers (especially the more leftie European ones) you'll find just exactly the same kind of pretentious, ignorant pro-"peace" articles and editorials written about the Korean War that exactly the same kind of pretentious, ignorant people are writing about Iraq now.
Peace marches in Paris? Check.
Accusations that America was "warmongering"? Check.
Aspersions about the intelligence of our President and allegations that he's fighting the war for personal gain or just because he likes to kill people? Check.

ohhhhhhhh, Korea, eh???....i could have sworn that someone esle here had mentioned that DSM was in Australia.....my bad....oh well....well, there sure has been alot of anti-America rallies going on in South Korea in the last few months....either they are being held by lots of ungratefull South Koreans or Kim has lots of his loony agents down there....what a nut these North Koreans are...ive seen some awfull pics of the poor children looking like concentration camp survivors and its so sad that this loony Kim is doing this to his own people....i sure as hell dont see that happening here...oh yea, Bush is sooooooooooooo evillllllll that he is starving millions of Americans to death.....freakin nutcases these liberals/leftists....how i do loathe them all

DSM must hate America because his mama-san was a "me love you long time" girl and his papa-san was one of many thousands of anonymous GI's who banged her for a couple of bucks. He probably has even had to do the "sucky-sucky" himself a few times, which would explain the bad taste in his mouth.
I still wonder why we bother to keep troops in Korea, because they plainly don't want us there, and they also obviously hate freedom and prosperity and want to starve under a communist dictatorship, so let them. We have the equivalent of two whole divisions just sitting there doing nothing but guarding the Koreans' sorry asses while they prosper under our protection and hate us for it, so screw them. We could use those two divisions to invade Syria and Iran, anyway.
