Furthermore, in response to all the Auburn fans whining that they should have been there, that's the way the BCS cookie crumbles, the only difference is that this time an eastern team got the short end. Last season it was USC having to watch LSU and OU play, when it's obvious they should have been there. After the 2001 season it was Oregon who got snubbed for the Rose Bowl in favor of Nebraska, who got drubbed by Miami, while Oregon had to settle for demolishing our fourth-seed dance partner and taking #2. The BCS system is inherently sucky, but usually it's the West that's left out in the cold. Well, now it's Judy's turn to cry.
