You know damn well Auburn would have eaten your Trojans for lunch.

Dude, SC should have been this year's NFC West wild-card pick.

Aaaaah... nicely countered.

I wasn't a believer until they dismantled OU (with plenty of help from OU). I'm happy for Pete Carrol, a nice guy who was a dreadful coach for my NE Patriots. I hope he doesn't go to the 49ers, who, as you point out, aren't as good.

Yeah, but if Carrol leaves Norm Chow would take his place. More worrisome is the fact that the 49ers have the first pick in the draft. If I'm Linert, I'm thinking SF at 10 million looks a whole lot better than another year of college.

SC would have creamed anyone but Cal or Utah. Pete is by far the best coach in College FB. I turned the game of at half time it was so one sided.

I agree with Rod. Furthermore, in response to all the Auburn fans whining that they should have been there, that's the way the BCS cookie crumbles, the only difference is that this time an eastern team got the short end. Last season it was USC having to watch LSU and OU play, when it's obvious they should have been there. After the 2001 season it was Oregon who got snubbed for the Rose Bowl in favor of Nebraska, who got drubbed by Miami, while Oregon had to settle for demolishing our fourth-seed dance partner and taking #2. The BCS system is inherently sucky, but usually it's the West that's left out in the cold. Well, now it's Judy's turn to cry.

If I'm Leinart, I'm thinking SF at 10 million looks a whole lot better than another year of college.
You've obviously forgotten how hot the chicks are at USC.

True, but how do we know he's not playing for the other team? SF is the natural choice.
