7 Rusty: I was at the industrial canal today to help out. The day ended being spent watching 9 New Orleans cops watch while a New Orleans police car was pulled from the industrial canal under the bridge on the north side of the lock. Crazy cop went around the barriers (because the bridge was in the up position) floored the cop car and went off the bridge at 80 MPH. Bridge was about 60 ft high. Unfortunately, two very brave and dedicated Coast Guard NCO's seen what happened and swam the canal, dived to the bottom and pulled the lame brain idiot out alive. New Orleans finest say he did it because he had a fight with his girl friend. This happened last tuesday night. WONDER WHY IT HASN'T HIT THE NEWS. Two heros save idiot in uniform and nothing in the news.
