Hammorabi notes that he received word through oral communication.

What does someone do with a rumor like that when we've heard the same thing a million times before? But this time, though, there are some other circumstances which may mean the rumor is true.
Or at least, that's how my wishful thinking goes.
My normal sources, so far, are silent on the rumor. Developing......

Don't let him slip like bin Laden. He can't get too far too fast injured. Scan the eastern border, Iran might be getting friendly with Iraqie terrorists, since they're keeping US infantry and machinery busy as well as war expenses growing, therefore delaying US invasion to Iran.

I guess the only way we'll know for sure is when we see his wonderfully dead face in the news. And how likely is that unless he's somehow found?

Laura (and all),
I'm not sure if you heard the question asked at the news conference with the Iraqi official, but his answer was, and I quote verbatum:
"It's my job."
I think it probably has something to do with DNA. It has been reported that he was treated at a hospital and the doctor involved saved a sample for DNA testing. I'm sure they've run the tests to corroborate the doctor's story. The doctor's story was how the whole "Zarqawi is wounded" story started to fly.

Wonder what would happen if everyone just stopped supporting Iraq financially, Yanks and other Allieds went home, bought their oil from Saudi Arabia and Russia and told the Iraqies to take care of their own darn mess, and that they would leave them alone for as long as they want if they don't attack things outside Middle East?
(A lot of terrorist attacks to get more free money for 'rebuilding')

“Imputati Stati Uniti, Israele e Italia alzatevi”.
 Dimitri Buffa fonte L'opinione:

Amazing... eventhough I have only seen some Italian daytime TV programs with subtitles, I could pretty much understand all that without a translator.

My spouse is from Italy, I'll see about a translation. Or perhaps A Finn would like to weigh in on it.
What kills me is the media keep using some old picture of Zarqawi in their reports. It's as if they don't want him caught. There are much more recent pictures of him that no one seems to be interested in using which, I would think, would hasten someone's recognition of him among the civilian crowd.

There’s something very charismatic about a leader who fights along side his men shoulder to shoulder. I think Zarqawi will be even more effective in martyrdom than he was as a living soul. And if he recovers and gets back on the battlefield, that will be very powerful symbolically to “the Brotherhood”.

So I would gather from your argument that the fact that Zarqawi is "fighting along side" his men means their war is correct and justifiable.
Uh .... No.

Speaking of DNA fingerprinting assays, did we ever do one on "Saddam"?
Remember he had body doubles and when his wife went to visit him in prison she stated that the prisoner was NOT her husband, that the Americans had the wrong man.
I've got before and after juxtaposed pictures if anyone is interested. If it is Saddam, his teeth deteriorated substantially since he was in power.
Worth a looksee.

sweet, that bastard is finally dead and who is this Al-Karina person, this sounds like a women, lol if the next terrorist is a women, man that would be fucked up and hilarious.
But keep in mind people, you may THINK that just because that son of a bitch is dead, DOENST mean someone will come up to rise, its bad enough the Al-Quada has a new replacement, but how about Bin Laden or his son for that matter. Better yet, how about Kim Jung-Il.
For now, lets celebrate the death of one bastard, before we start worrying about the other assholes that are just about coming to power.
