WTW Be a Grill Commander

Weber grills has been sponsoring a contest amongst the Marines for the best steak grilling Marine in the nation. The top 100 recipes will be in a new cook book on sale for 10 bucks each. The winners will be grilling this week in NYC. Hear that Filthy? Now get down there and get you a steak and few new recipes.

Command of The Gril dot com: In 2005, active duty and reserve Marines at 10 military installations around the country took up their tongs in the ultimate battle of the barbecue. They marinated, seared, and sauced in an all-out battle for top grilling honors. This book showcases the winning recipes from the competition, along with steak recipes from famous former Marines like Lee Trevino and Ed McMahon.

All proceeds from the sale of the book go to charities that support wounded or killed U.S. Marines and their families.

IÂ’ll be firing up my Weber for this Memorial Day weekend. I like my steak fairly rare but hot and smothered in real butter with a dash of salt. How about you?

Hat Tip : WTVW Hey itÂ’s all I had. A short in my steering column resulted in my car horn blowing. By the time I got it unhooked I had blown a fuse and my radio quit. I didnÂ’t really feel like lying under the dash upside down last night so I had a very quiet drive in.

Update: I'm not for sure you will all be able to see this Wizard of Id, but if you can it's good.
