I'd definitely say no to that.
This just reiterates the need for the courts to come up with some rational definition of 'adult.' In two years, the attitude this boy will have about sex will almost certainly be EXACTLY THE SAME, yet the woman is charged with rape.
I'd suggest some battery of psychological tests to determine if the person is actually mature enough to decide when sex is appropriate, but that would likely extend the effective statutory rape age to about 30 for most people.

Do you guys think this type of older woman, jailbait guy stuff has been happening all along, and just didn't get national publicity before cable news and the internet? Or is it increasing now because of moral decline? Or because of copy cats? I tend to think it happened a lot in the past, but just didn't get written about or make the news very often, but I just don't know. I think the writer John Irving has said his first sexual experience was at a very young age with a much older woman...
