The four: Noah Feldman, Vali Nasr, James Fearon, and Juan Cole are suitably grave, in keeping with the preferred MSM meme of a people who have been savaged by the brutal US government and teeter on the abyss due to the Bush administration's incompetence.
But something is missing here.
In 1,290 words (two printed pages in the hardcopy edition) discussing the "civil war" in Iraq, the words "terror", "terrorism", "terrorist", and "al Qaeda" (or even, "al Qaida") appear not once.

I think that was the issue I saw on the magazine rack at Borders a while ago, (are there any of my stalkers reading this? I was there, in the flesh, between 6:00 and 7:00 tonight),and the cover showed a bunch of jihadotards with the words:
Iraq BREAKING POINT. Liberals want to badly for us to fail, and I want so badly to kill them all.

Time called me to give an expert opinion about "The Breaking Point" in Iraq but I told them to ask Juan because I knew nothing about Persian and Mesopotamian pottery shards circa 600 BC.
Okay, that was lame but I do get a chuckle from Juan's assessment. He's spent three years pimping the spectre of civil war and sectarian/ethnic violence, primarily on his blog, and when he gets to the big TIME, he makes it sound like Iraqis think Family Feud only when Richard Dawson flies into Baghdad.
