We Are All French Today

And so it begins. What many of us thought of as a purely American media tendency to portray police or soldiers as villains while exalting criminals and terrorists is a French sport, as well.

From NEWS.com.au:

TF1, the television channel, showed a young Arab on the outskirts of Lyons objecting politely about the insulting manner of an officer who had demanded his identity papers.
"You want me to take you to a transformer?" the officer sneers back, referring to the electricity station where two teenagers were electrocuted while fleeing an identity check.

The incident sparked the riots.[merde de boeuf - Bluto]

"We don't give a shit if your estate calms down," said the officer, using the disrespectful "tu" rather than "vous".

"In fact, the more it gets f...ed up the happier we are."

Just when the French thought the Intifada was quieting down, a French Kevin Sites has decided to heat things up again. So a cop, who has probably been on duty for days, got fed up with a smartass remark from some arrogant pimple farmer. This minor incident needs to be reported all over the world (NEWS.com.au is an Australian outlet) and used as justification for the Muslim insurrection in Europe? No wonder the US has to step in and save these effeminate jackasses time after time.

A little further on we get some insight into why a cop in France might be a wee bit on edge:

"Casser les keufs" - beating up cops - is what they like doing best, say the young wreckers.

"We torch a car and when the keufs turn up, the fun starts," a teenager said with typical bravado at a northeast Paris estate.

When no cops are available perhaps these little chameaux sales might get into a little "casser les journalistes". Then you can bet you'll see editorials demanding more aggressive police presence.

1 Dear Macktastick Rusty Wicked Please delete Bluto's authorship. His knowledge of French is disturbing. :-)

2 "...a young Arab on the outskirts of Lyons objecting politely..." Show us the tape. That's the journalistic standards of today. Don't show the hundreds (or thousands) of cops who do their job right. Blast the airwaves with one guy who said something rude. And imply that it's justification for torching thousands of cars, businesses and homes. A big accusation right now is that the dismantling of the "Proximity Police" that worked on foot in these areas is what allowed the situation to boil over. I'd venture to guess that it sounds more like they were "Appeasement Police". By all accounts, these guys were there just to keep things quiet while the same failed, socialistic policies of the French government continued. It's always the same story. Don't blame those who wreak havoc. Blame those who "made" them do it. While there are root causes for every issue, no blame for the ensuing havoc is ever assigned to those who actually commit the crimes.

3 How about mass deportations for these thin skinned bastards?

4 Let France burn. The socialists and jihadis deserve each other. I'll just sit back with my popcorn and enjoy the fireworks.

5 When children fall down, it is acceptable to pick them up a few times, to show them that they must get up instead of lying prostrate, wallowing in self pity, but there comes a time when they must get up on their own. We have spent hundreds of thousands of our young men's lives picking the French up, but now they must get up on their own. I have no sympathy or respect for anyone who will not fight for their own survival; such people deserve extinction.

6 Hondo is NOT sympathethic to the French! In a few more days the riots will burn themselves out due mostly to the lack of things to burn and the changing weather ( winter and colder temps are coming). The French will then engage in an orgy of liberal socialist soul-searching and come to the conclusion that they haven't been liberal or socialist enough! They will then pat themselves on the back on "how little actual death and injury" there was and be proud of that. And they WILL compare their response to say "an American" one with lots of deaths, violence and brutality (their opinion) and feel superior about themselves. the French will become smug and self-righteous about the whole thing and boast that they handled the situation better than say "those Americans". DOES ANYONE DOUBT THAT! The French respond the way they do because they are afraid of the Muslims. They believe that if they do use force and tough tactics the Muslims would probably escalate to the nth level with car and truck bombings, suicide bombers in subways etc. leading to the deaths of hundreds if not more French citizens. The French love the "status quo"! Their lifestyle and social attitudes are more important to them than reality. They don't want the boat rocked and are more than willing to compromise and turn a blind eye in the name of "peace and tranquility". Some years ago during a heat wave more than 5000 French citizens died - seems it coincided with the national vacation period - everything had virtually shut down including hospitals and social services. Those who died needlessly were simply casualties of "the lifestyle" and the "lifestyle" was more important. They didn't give a damn then - nothing changed and no one held accountable - what makes anyone think they are going to give a damn now.

9 What is you point rectus? Do you simply want to remind us that you are nothing but subhuman liberal scum and would love to be some jihadi's dhimmi bitch before you die? No need to bother, we already knew that about you.

10 Muslims will be muslims. Thinking you can change them is pure folly.
