UPDATE III: The Jawa Report has obtained a copy of the original video. Images from it are posted below and to the right. Unlike other hostage videos, the video edits out the terrorist sitting next to American hostage Ronald Schulz. This is very different than any other IAI produced hostage video I have seen. The image right is of Ronald Schuz's passport as seen in video. Schulz can be seen in the video speaking to one of his captors, but his voice cannot be heard.

Another update: Noted terror expert Laura Mansfield also with video-Hyscience also hosting video The Islamic Army in Iraq has threatened to murder an American civilian named RONALD SCHULZ in a new video broadcast by al Jazeera. The group which has murdered dozens of hostages in the past, including Red Cross worker Enzo Baldoni, demanded that all Iraqi prisoners be released from jail.

The video shows a blonde man sitting with his hands tied behind his back and his identification card bearing his name.

The Islamic Army in Iraq has known ties to al Qaeda in Iraq. Further, there is possibly a loose affilitation with The Swords of Righteousness Brigade which is holding four Western peace activists. The Islamic Army in Iraq has several websites which release propaganda films on almost a daily basis and which, for some uknown reason, the U.S. intelligence community has refused to shut down. These sites are often hosted on servers in countries which are 'allies' in the war on terror.

Several other Americans are presently being held hostage in Iraq. They are: Thomas Fox, Dean Sadek and Jeffrey Ake. Keith Maupin is listed as MIA.

We pray for the release of RONALD SCHULZ and the other hostages in Iraq.

UPDATE I:al Jazeera (hat tip: Tim at Opnion Bug):

The group said in the tape it captured the adviser and was giving the US military in Iraq 48 hours to release all Iraqi prisoners, otherwise it would kill him.

The group also demanded the US army compensate the people of Anbar governorate for the losses they have suffered from the frequent US attacks on their cities. Both Falluja and Ramadi are in Anbar province and have come under heavy US fire.
