The long suffering populace of Yemen is mad as hell and they're not taking it anymore.
Why should we care? Because despite what we've been told, the government of Yemen is not our ally in the GWOT. They brought the Cole bombing conspirators in through the front door, then smuggled them out the back when no one was looking.
Just like in Iran, there is a democracy movement in Yemen that should be encouraged mightily by the free nations of the world. Maybe these riots will make them sit up and take notice.

Everyone knows the democracy movement in Yemen is just another plot by AmeriKKKan imperialists and Joooooooz to oppress muslims and steal oil, just like the democracy movements in Belarus, Ukraine, Lebanon, et al. All we're after is their oil. Right, greg?

IM: I have a good freind whos' father worked in Saudi Arabia for many years for a big oul company. I asked one time why he would go all he way over there to work. Two reasons. One you make really good money. The other was that the Saudi men just don't work hard like Americans. They did have a couple of good hands from Saudi bu mainly they would either now show up or not make enough trips ( trip is when you wear out the bit and have to pull out and add a new one) or they would all just stop working and let 10,000 barrels of oil spill all over the desert. From what he said over there the women do all the work and the men do as little as possible.

Improbulus,
For the last time, I don't hate the Jews. I dislike the power the Israeli Lobby exerts over the US. Hai capito? Give it a rest now.
In fact, in a few minutes I'm going to the Jewish 'Ghetto' (not much of a ghetto anymore) here in Rome to have dinner. It's where one finds truly excellent authentic Roman cuisine such as tripe and bachlava (the fish, not the Greek dessert).

Max: Sorry that one went over your head.
Greg, we don't buy it. About every other post you make has something about Jews in it. You can plead off with "it's about Israel" or "Zionism", but we know what you're really saying. Maybe if you didn't wear the tinfoil beanie when you post you might make some sense occasionally. By the way, do you ever see any other people out there in Texas, or do you just get your news from passing tumbleweeds, because some of the shit you come up with is just hilarious, or would be if times weren't so grim.
Howie: I was in the Saudi Arabia for Desert Storm in 90-91, and I can personally attest to the worthlessness of Saudi men. They are the laziest bastards I have ever seen. Almost all work is done by non-Saudis, except for a few things like jewelry sales, police, and military. The country would stop dead in its tracks if all foreigners left, especially the Philippinos and Indians. Every foreigner who lives there hates them because of their arrogance and the demeaning way they treat the people who feed them. I say screw 'em, take the oil and send them out into the deserts with their goats and camels.

Improb:'Greg, WE don't buy it.'
'WE' as in the many fragmentary identities you assume in your schizophrenic disorder? The VA sucks, or they would be taking better care of mentally disabled Vets such as yourself. 'WE' know the cause of your medical discharge.
There are many readers on this site who recognize that my gripe is focused on the power that the Israeli Lobby has on the U.S. political environment and on Zionism, but not on Jews per se. Two of my life long friends are Jewish.
Look who's getting bribed by AIPAC. Most are Democrats. They are bought and paid for.

I hate Islam and all that make excuses for their behavior.
They scream death of America.
I scream death to Islam.
