UPDATE 5/10: Army of Ansar al-Sunna website releases images of Japanese hostage Akihiko Saito. Images, story, and link to website.
-----------------

The Army of Ansar al-Sunnah released a gruesome videotape of the execution of an Iraqi translator. Images and links to the video are posted below. This came only a day after the group released a video of seven Iraqis being murdered.

The hostage identifies himself as Safad Mohammed Hassan from Mosul. The video is in three parts. The victim is first forced to 'confess' to the 'crime' of working with Americans. Next, a close-up of his identification badge shows that he is a translator. Last, a lone gunman stands behind the blindfolded victim then fires a single shot into the back of his head.

These are the people we are fighting. They are not freedom fighters. They are not fighting to liberate Iraq. They are fighting to set up an Islamic state patterned after the Taliban.

Why do I post these images? You would be surprised at how many people think the 'opposition' in Iraq is some sort of freedom movement. These people think that the sophomoric pranks pulled by US soldiers in Abu Ghraib (which consisted mainly of 'humiliating' Iraqis by stripping them naked in front of women) is somehow equivelent to what terrorists do.

I show these images so you will have no illusion about who we are up against. This is not an EXECUTION, it is MURDER. These people MURDER all who they capture.

4 Let me translate Claudio's post for all of you whom cant seem to find the Google Translator "they are truly of the animals, these films go rendered publici, why therefore the entire world can understand with that type of people is being dealt and criminializiamo quegl' iimbecilli and/or imbecille to the feminine one of soldiers u.s.a. u.k. for the sevizie made to the prisoners irakeni it does not have also to sure understand the state of mind of these persons put under pressure from some advanced one, with the only one saglio made that one makes itself to photograph from imbecilli"

5 Someone needs to inform the terrorist assholes that the killings are not having the effect they used to have. Personally, I haven't watched one of the videos in 3 months. Same old stuff. Nothing new. But what does one expect from such trash.
