passes along the chilling testimony of Marianne, a scared, lonely Catholic writing in from France.
As much as I dislike French politics and relentlessly give them a hard time here, I pray for France's deliverance from these evil times.

Being one of my favorites, I try to catch as much as possible on this site. I'm assuming I've missed something, but who the hell is this 'Route Irish' and why aren't his posts blocked? I remember seeing one other post just telling someone else to ignore him, but what's the deal?
Just curious ...

Route Irish:
Have you given any thought to opening your own blog?
one where anyone with liberal mindsickness can masturbate with satisfaction at your witty repertoire of bumperstickers and lefty bullshit articles, I personally find them as entertaining as being rolled down a hill in a barrel of monkey crap with a pound of nails, although other liberal idiots you hang with, probably think you're the man though.

dave, the guy just seems unstable to me and doesn't even have a consistant message. One minute he posts a link to what appears to be some liberal crap (I don't know since I have no intention of following the link) and then he posts some different crap like the spam above to 'sticker giant'. I thought only 4 year olds gave a crap about stickers. My guess is he is a 'guest' at an insane asylum.

Route Irish is a spammer - nothing else - commercial, ideological whatever.

Many of my ancestors on my mother's side of my family came to America, via the Isle of Wight, from the Rheims area of France. They were Hugenots, Protestants run out of France by the Catholics, and rebels so I guess it was inevitable that they would end up in the American South.
Nonetheless, I take no pleasure in what is happening in France. The structure of the political system in France and most of Europe, including Canada, makes it almost impossible for the majority of the people to rule. Most of these nations are ruled by minority parties of Socialists.
The oppposition parties tend to be nothing more than the same thing, only the fascist branch of the totalitarians. If there were viable conservative parties in Europe I believe the nightmare of these people could end. Until then, I have little hope for the French, but I pray for them nonetheless. I am one of them.

JJ, the plain fact is that nothing will ever change in Europe, because Europe never fully realized the promise of the Enlightenment, mainly because they refused to shed their old social orders. Thus Europeans have little understanding of what makes Americans tick, as it were, because America is the full realization of enlightenment ideals. Fascism and Communism will never take root in America because extremism is like fungus; it doesn't grow well in the full light of Liberty, it needs dank, shady soil full of decay, which is easily found across Europe.

Ah, but IM, I disagree with you on this one. The extremism on the Left, with the help of Academia and the Press, both of them hijacked by the Left in the past 30 years, now have that dank, shady soil and have taken root. As a matter of fact, while you and I were out there making a living and raising our families, the Left has also about completed its takeover of the judicial system.
They now control the media, the school system, and most of the judicial system. We are late to the party. We have the internet, which they are trying to take away, and we have talk radio. We still have a large number of people, the better people, I might add, on our side, but time is going against us. We shall see!

We also have guns JJ, 200 million of them to be nearly exact, which is exactly why the libtards have been trying so hard to take them away, because no totalitarian government can exist when the people can defend themselves. Which is why liberals must all be exterminated.
