Spam, Spam, Beautiful Spam!

You know, the one really cool thing about fatwas is that if a prominent religious leader issued one against spammers they'd mess their pants, which would be just plain joyous to contemplate. Sometimes all this whiggish tolerance for individual deviance is just too tedious to be tolerated.

I'm just sayin'...

1 I don't think you closed the italics tag. I'll fix it. I swear, I have to do everything around here. UPDATE: Fixed!

2 Vinnie: Thanks. I hate spammers. I figure they probably cost us more than the annual influenza epidemic, but for some reason people just prefer to let them get away with it. A fatwa would be a great informal way of curing the problem. No messy legislation or anything, just make it a religious duty to elimidate them. I mean, I can see the appeal. Max Weber talked about social constraints, arguing that they were as powerful as laws. Apparently, not unless the retaliation has some friggin' teeth.
