Sgrena Update: Where is the Outrage Over Roy Hallums?

The Pope prays for Giuliana Sgrena: "While I am continuing to pray for peace in the Middle East, I address a heartfelt appeal for the release of Italian journalist Giuliana Sgrena and for all the people who have been kidnapped in Iraq"

French musicians sing for the release of left-wing journalist Florence Aubenas: Around 30 singers put on a free concert in Paris on Monday in a show of support for a French female journalist and her Iraqi translator, missing in Iraq and believed to have been kidnapped.

1 I think all the outrage in this country is focused on some fake reporter and some fake ad on a gay singles site. Yeah, priorities are good things... I guess we are more like the rest of the world than anyone thought.

3 Why has it to be an issue if they do a march for Giuliana Sgrena and not for Roy? After all she is against the war in Iraq, and the Europeans who were against the war, they did not oppose the war because they are cowards but because they did not want to help carry an illegal invasion and robbery of a sovreign country. What the terrorists are doing is horrible, but it is America who fired the first shot on Iraq, no actually the second! Those horrible terrorist activities started because the US are there, so it's the US fault, it's the US who created these monster. The Us is to blame as much as the terrorists. I am really amused when Americans point the finger at the terrorists and say that what they are doing is worse than what the US military did in Abu Ghraib prison... As, if the terrorists are committing such horrible acts we should then condone the Americans who are committing cleaner crimes, like killing civilians with artillery or by dropping bombs. Crimes are crimes, and murders are murders, which ever way they are carried, horrific or civilized, at the end the result is the same... it's killing, period! I pray that they release Giuliana from the bottom of my heart, may god protect her from any harm! amaen!

4 I thought that it was awesome that all those Italians marched for their hostage ...and we seem to forget and stay silent for our hostages, it saddens me that they showed such strong support but I am doing all I can to help save Roy and I am proud of my daughters and their sad sweet efforts. I hear their pain every day and frequently wish I could go look for Roy. WE love and miss you and pray for your safe return . All things are possible if you believe. God Bless ...Susan Hallums thank you God... for the kind people that have shown their love and prayers.
