Separating Wheat From Chaff

Hmmmm...

ISLAMABAD (Reuters) - A dinner invitation to al Qaeda's second-in-command triggered a U.S. airstrike in Pakistan's tribal region but Ayman al-Zawahri failed to show up, Pakistani intelligence officials said on Sunday.

Is this the same Pakistani intelligence that supported the Taliban? Why, yes it is.

How many missiles can a Predator drone carry? One. Several different types of munitions, now. Thanks Brass.

How many were fired based on initial reports? 10.

How many does this article say? 4

What did the so-called witnesses originally say? They say they saw American planes in the air just prior to the bombings.

Does a Pakistani F-16 look just like an American F-16?

This gets curiouser and curiouser.

I'm no conspiracy theorist, but I'm looking at events in the news, connecting dots, as it were, and asking questions.

Why is Iran suddenly so brazen?

Why is Kim Jong Il suddenly travelling around Asia?

What good would it do for Musharraf to suddenly embarass the U.S.?

I don't know.

But I have a bad feeling that this is going to be the year that Islam rises, with help from its atheistic supporters, in an attempt to re-establish the Caliphate.

If you want to have a laugh, look at the moonbat's theory that Osama would never cooperate with secular Saddam. Then look at the arms and armament China and North Korea have supplied to Islamic countries.

Islam is patient, Islam is unrelenting, Islam will not be stopped until it is utterly crushed.

1 "Why is Iran suddenly so brazen?" Cause they know that the UN and the EU are toothless, and that, as soon as Pres Bush gets the US vocally involved, our Leftoids will back Iran.

2 They're not toothless, they're simply on the side of whoever is against America.

3 So just what does an F16 at about 20,000 feet at 3 AM with it's lights out look like again?

Posted by: Howie at January 15, 2006 09:38 AM (D3+20)

4 What confused me is the statement that Pakistan condemned the attack, and said the U.S invaded it's airspace, then on the news it says the F.B.I is expected to do DNA tests on the victims. "Your illegal raid killed our citizens! Hello Iz this the Amerikan EF BE EYE? would you run the DNA of all the victims for us? thank you very much kind sir, come again"

5 Actually, the Predator can carry more than one Hellfire, and the Predator B "Warrior" version can carry quite a bit more. Here is a good analysis.

6 Makes me sorry we ever gave those sonsabitches the millions and millions of dollars we did back in the 80s.

7 A united caliphate ? Not this year, or next. The Sunni's and Shia hate each other a lot more than they hate us. Q> Who are you most likely to fight with ? A. your neighbors not the people on the other side of the globe. 1/2 the people commenting here it would seem, would rather shoot or hang an American than a foreign muslim. I can't see F 16s whether Paki or US hanging around a target they were probably predators. The hole in the side of the house that I saw looked like a missile strike. Myself I would rather see Al Zawahri as a trophy prisoner than as a martyr: 5 miles from an ill defined border I say go for it.

8 All Pakistan's borders are ill defined. Especially that to the east. It seems to keep moving.

9 Thanks for that link Brass, I hadn't heard that the Predator could carry more than one.

10 How's your mother, John?

11 I suppose the "Threat" alone that's been established by our "Predators' and their abilities, should give those towelheads that might "Host' al Quaeda bigshots a little reserve. Would you invite the devil as well as some terrorist? Probably not. Lessee if those "Toys" deprive those assholes of places to hide and other support.

12 two comments, one probably already said a billion times: 1 - Hitler and Stalin would never sign a treaty with each other 2 - check http://in.news.yahoo.com//060112/137/61z3r.html in which `Nam John Kerry sez: Kerry said Iran could be referred to the U.N. Security Council if the crisis continued. "If all diplomatic channels fail, we have no choice but to take the issue before the international body," Kerry, a strong proponent of nuclear non-proliferation, said. If diplomatic channels fail, we'll go to the UN; maybe after that we can consult with the Martians. Iran's leaders know we're still overrun with powerful puddinheads.

13 You guys are smarter than me. But when I came across this, it made me stop and think. http://www.snappingturtle.net/flit/archives/2006_01_14.html#005714 Make sense to you?

Posted by: OregonGuy at January 16, 2006 12:27 AM (Poc/M)

14 Good link Oregon. Everyone should check it out, but I will summarize; the guy in the pic is standing next to what looks like a standard 155mm artillery round, though it could be 130mm or 152mm, but regardless, it hasn't been fused or fired, though they're posing it as if it's an unexploded ordnance recovered from the scene of the bombing, which it very well could be, but they're probably trying to use it for anti-American propaganda, i.e., they're lying, as it typical among muslims. Everyone should always remember that you should never believe anything a muslim says, because they are generally incapable of telling the truth.

15 I don't know a thing about artillery shells, but would an unexploded shell, recently fired, look like it does? It looks, well, old. And why were they careful to take a picture of it standing up behind a wall of rock hiding the bottom half? I'm in dire need of an education on this sort of thing.

Posted by: Oyster at January 16, 2006 10:02 AM (osKlJ)

16 It looks like an old 152mm unexploded(obviously) Russian artillery shell, but the 155mm America and its allies use would appear about the same, although they are not interchangeble. It appears to have a fuse in it, although I am not authoritive enough to know for sure. But I am smart enough to know that this is not a missle, and I suspect the NYT knew also. This was just too good of an anti-American photo for the Times to resist, traitorous bastards that they are.

17 Joe my mother died in 1985. I hope yours is doing better than mine.

Posted by: john Ryan at January 16, 2006 11:02 AM (TcoRJ)

18 Bad joke, John, and I am sorry to hear that.

Posted by: jesusland joe at January 16, 2006 11:23 AM (rUyw4)

19 I spent three years in a 155mm artillery unit, and that round is unfuzed and unfired.

Posted by: Improbulus Maximus at January 16, 2006 12:48 PM (0yYS2)

20 Correction: As I've now seen a higher resolution image on Michelle Malkin's blog, I see that the round has indeed been fired, which is evident from the rifling marks on the brass band around the base. Also, what in a smaller photo appeared to be a lifting ring is actually the remnants of a fuze. The round is a dud, and those primitives standing next to it would be smarter to run around in a thunderstorm wearing tinfoil suits and waving TV antennas around. Here's hoping they decide to paint an American flag on it and hit it with a hammer...

21 How about some more links about the photo ? I haven't been able to find any yet myself. It doesn't appear to be picked up by any other news services. I never heard of the AFP, I am not convinced of much about the photo. And Joe she has been dead now for 2 decades so even a bad joke isn't really painful. Its not like you were calling me a bed-wetter. THAT WAS REALLY HARSH IM !!

Posted by: john Ryan at January 16, 2006 01:16 PM (TcoRJ)

22 AFP=Agence French Press, I think.

Posted by: jesusland joe at January 16, 2006 01:22 PM (rUyw4)

23 John, when it comes to my enemies, harsh is as good as it gets. Remember, if you possibly can, that these are the people who were dancing in the streets when they heard about 9/11.
