My disgust that you'd actually compare crossing the border to stealing from a bank is quite large. While both are breaking the law, one actually violates another person's rights (property,) whereas the other does not.
But hey, its somewhat heartening that the people who are against me can't even come up with original commentary (nice theft from the radio, btw) and also have to be so absurdly wrong in their analogies. Surely, your side will lose with such astounding 'leadership' and 'arguments' on your side.
Of course, my side has the albatross of mecha and the
la rasa folks, but at least its actually a minority instead of a ravenous, unAmerican majority.
Parting comment: Nice way to be unAmerican. Comparing immigration to
bank theft. Apparently you're another one of those "the law should be obeyed because its the law" people.
I'm sure Jefferson et al would be happy to argue with that. A pity that so many Americans have forgotten what it means to be American.

Tell the folks whose local emergency rooms have been shut down by illegals using them as primary care facilities that this is a victimless crime.
The real tragedy is bank robbery, by dint of much lower numbers, is a much lower drain on the nation than the legions of illegal immigrants.
And note the modifier. Despite your dishonest attempt to conflate legal immigration with illegal border jumping, it just isn't the same.
Not sure what radio you're talking about; I had the idea for this last night and went picture shopping on Google. Then again, there's very little original under the sun.

My mistake then, Bluto. It was heard, I think, on Hannity? Or Mark Lavin or however you spell his name.
Anyway, hey I have an idea - stop America from being socialist instead of blaming the illegal immigrants for taking advantage of the most theft-prone, retarded system ever.
I know, going after the cause of the problem instead of a minor contribution to it.
I am totally insane for that.
But we know that socialism would work if it wern't for those pesky illegals, right? You make me sick.

Its funny how conservatives, who are supposedly pro-individual-responsibility, pro-capitalism, etc., back this kind of retarded theft/handout system and then, when it
obviously does not work, they try to find a convenient scapegoat for it.
Hey guess what Bluto?
All of the money put into those public wastebins is thrown away and stolen. I think thats a bigger problem then whatever money illegals take out of "the system." But lets blame them for "stealing," ya?
#1 theif in America right now, and the one that has caused that silly issue to be brought up, if the federal government. Maybe you want to go to the source of the problem instead of nixing one minor contributary.

There might be more responses to your post if you would take the time to be a bit more coherent in your thought process. I was actually going to reply but I couldn't ever hit that moving target.

Its pretty simple. Why blame illegal immigrants as "theives" of our social system that is in fact funded by...theft?
My great idea was to get rid of the socialism.

Why blame them? Why blame bank robbers for robbing banks when they only do it because that's where the money is? (I think John Dillinger said that first).
MiB. Illegal immigrants are, by definition, criminals. You do not discourage crime by rewarding criminals for their criminal acts.
Look at it this way, if we weren't already supporting millions and millions of criminal illegal aliens, we could increase the number of legal immigrants. That means they're not only stealing from US citizens, they're stealing from other people very much like themselves, who respect the system and follow the rules.

Dam illegal immigrants, pick up that trash you dropped, and learn to speek English. Hell, we might as well let everyone in from India, and Africa too.
Liberal scum! Did I say anything about uninsured motorist? I have to pay it. Dam illegals!

MiB, what does the fact that we have social programs have to do with the legality or illegality of how one enters the country?
"Its funny how conservatives, who are supposedly pro-individual-responsibility, pro-capitalism, etc., back this kind of retarded theft/handout system and then, when it obviously does not work, they try to find a convenient scapegoat for it."
That's where you're wrong. We don't back this "retarded theft/handout system". And trying to find a scapegoat is the furthest thing from the truth. The way most of us feel is that if one deserves help then others should find it in their hearts to help. Indiscriminate charity will be our downfall of this country. And when people are flowing across the border and abusing what system we do have, right or wrong, we get a little perturbed. There are American citizens who need help and are suffering because the system can't accomodate them for all the abuses. And yes, some Americans abuse the system too. They're not off the hook. but we'll deal with our own and Mexico should do the same.
Frankly, I find your inuendos that we are hateful or discriminatory, simply on the basis of one's origin, insulting. When Mexico shows no concern for who comes to the US, via the Mexican/American border, even if they're not Mexican, then we have issues. Especially when they reciprocate by throwing a "gringo" in one of their hole-in-the-wall prisons to be forgotten forever over the most petty of issues - unless they can grease someone's palm and pay their way out.
These people who come over here illegally and send their earnings back to support their families then criticize us for asking that they go through the proper channels aren't doing their families or anyone any favors. They're perpetuating the corruption in the Mexican government by allowing them to continue to ignore their own economic woes, yet, they demand that we accomodate them by fixing our system to suit them.
That's about as simple as I can put it.
You're argument simply doesn't stand up. Furthermore, you take this all to personally by insuating we are against you.
"But hey, its somewhat heartening that the people who are against me can't even come up with original commentary..." If you're here legally and working and contributing to our society then why would we have any ill will toward you?
