Sac Bee Intentionally Undermining Federal Case?

Hmmm, I wonder why all the news coming out of the Hayat terror cases was so negative? Aggressive Tendencies:

According to my fly on the wall, in retaliation for the leak investigation, the Bee editors have decided to actively work to undermine the prosecution's case by slanting the stories on the pages of the Bee.

The U.S. Attorney's Office is not amused, and will be having a little sit down meeting with the Bee editors in the coming days to express their unhappiness with the paper.

No bias here folks, move along.

1 I am shocked. Shocked and appalled. [/sarcasm] Following the case as closely as I did, every time I read a story, I wondered what actually happened in the court room. I couldn't believe that the US Attorney's office was screwing things up as badly as it looked like they were. On the bright side, this explains why I was off on my acquittal predictions.

3 Those McClatchy papers aren't to be trusted. And they just bought the Knight-Ridder papers but I hear they sold most of them off already.
