Removing Post on American Hostage in Iraq

For the past week I have been running tributes to the forgotten Americans being held hostage in Iraq. Some members of one of the hostages' immediate family have contacted me. They are afraid that overpublicizing their loved ones' plight could hurt his chances for release. Out of respect of the family I have taken down several posts. If you read the posts previously, I ask that you keep continuee to keep him in your prayers.

1 Dr. Rusty, Thank you for the tribute to the hostages. These past weeks have been painful and like no experience I've had in my life. Seeing the pain in my daughters eyes has hurt tremendously. Hopefully this matter will be resolved and you can write about that. I was married to Roy for 30yrs ,we divorced 1 yr ago , he will always be a dear friend.

2 We all pray for the safe return of loved ones. I cannot imagine what this must be like for the families involved. Miss Hallums, my thoughts are with you and your daughters through this trying time.

4 Matt Maupin is dead; posting info on him or others isn't going to get them released; you know that as well as I do. ~C

5 Well, now the guys name runs along the bottom of every news channel so it shouldn't be hidden anymore; it's out there. Cindy
