that Ayaan Hirsi Ali is moving here to the good 'ol U S of A.
Good for us, bad for The Netherlands.
Maybe we should start agitating to send Cindy Sheehan over there. Y'know, fair trade and all that.

Now that they hounded Ayaan Hirsi Ali out of the country:

This is a case of good immigration. But Ms. Ali will find find that just as moving to the Netherlands was no escape from radical Islam, moving to America won't be an escape from Leftwing moonbattery either. It's true Liberals don't hold the same clout here in America as they do over there, but that only makes them meaner and angrier and more in your face. But we got your back, Ms. Ali. Welcome to freedom!

I'm thinking that would be an excellent trade, Vinnie. And if we take it a step further and go for an even trade, say IQ for IQ, we could really clean house.
Ms. Ali, welcome to America! I would gladly have you in my neighborhood. There's a lot of retired military in my neighborhood. You'd be safe.

Verify first in detail - I'm having a difficult time with it.
She is a wannabe transplanted Euro leftist ... she's upset because her euro leftist friends are gutless and shallow.
Remember - the islamists hate everybody (especially the lib/left but they are too gutless, fearful and blind to see it).
If she comes, she will fit in nicely with the lib/left crowd .... probably settle in Manhattan noless. I know euros (even the wannabes) ... don't be so quick to embrace her - you might not like the smell.

Just send over a bunch of the leftists always threatening to leave the 'wretched' America.
Hopefully she is not some disgruntled leftist Hondo, you guys have a sizable and vocal number of them already.

No exception of the rule: We in the Netherlands are surprised as anyone else, but she seems to have been lying during here naturalization process and she is probably going to loose here Dutch passport as well. Lying is something that is not excepted, it means you canÂ’t be trusted. And on top of that she ones openly attack a highly respected senior member of here own party!
I think someone decided to give her the boot.
Now that she is going to the USA can we expect the sequel “submission 2”?
I donÂ’t think so, somebody in the US will probably say: Forget about it!

We'll see, Hondo. I hope you're not right. I think the left and most women's rights groups will not likely embrace her. They've pretty much ignored her so far. I think they see her more of a threat than an asset to their cause(s).

They did embrace her (there and here) before - she's one of them. They suddenly stopped not because they disagree with her - but because they are afraid of the islamists.
Its got nothing to do with their cause - it is because they are gutless and intimidated by real terror and violence from the islamists.

What do I read: “Good for us, bad for The Netherlands” (I mist that one at first!)
Ha ha ha ha ha. …That’s a bit naïve!
Like if you give a shit if Latino women are getting an everyday beating by their husband or some family member! And youÂ’re Americans play crybaby when it comes to Muslims!???
Beam me up Scotty!

Pity poor Dan the Dutchman ... he is afterall ... Dutch.
Let him rant. He is afterall, a joke in his own house.
Go ahead - attack us poor Americans if you must - if it makes you momentarily feel better about yourself - we are a compassionate people - we understand ... and know that tomarrow, when you wake up ... you will still be Dutch ... sorry.
We will not get angry - we will not hurt you - we are a safe vehicle for your frustration.
In time you will fade away - I will remember you (fondly) when I plant some new tulips.

Dan,
They are? Whevever did you hear such an ignorant moronic thing. Stop embarrassing yourself. No wonder Ms. Ali is fleeing the land of dhimmidiots.

You mean: "fleeing to" the land of ....
Are you Latino by chance? DoesnÂ’t really matter, at least not to me! But thatÂ’s beside the point!
The point is you getting upset; you see unjustly an image being portrayed thatÂ’s generally not true! Imaging that image being repeated over and over again! You get my drift?
Give the man a Pepsi!
..time to move on.

Dan,
I was aware that latino men have a reputation for being macho, but I've never heard it said that they beat their wives daily. Methinks you pulled that one out of your ass.
But your second point about false images defeats your original point about American double standards towards latino wife beaters. You'd have to be incredibly obtuse or retarded not to see it.
In other words, if your point about Latino wife beaters was meant solely for the purpose of showing that images can be deceptive, then you can hardly blame Americans for not buying into that false image and not giving a shit "if Latino women are getting an everyday beating by their husband or some family member!" Comprende?
In addition, just because some images are false doesn't mean all images are false. That's where nuance and subtlety come in. You Liberals are supposed to be famous for that. If you have impirical evidence that Latino men are famous for beating their wives, then I'd be happy to consider it. I don't take such things personally. All cultures have some shortcomings. But if you don't have the evidence (and I doubt that you do), that doesn't mean we don't have impirical evidence about islam. Ms. Ali sure does!
And finally, you should look up the word "dhimmi". It applies to Europe, not America. That's why you are dhimmidiots, and we aren't.
Posted by: Jesusland Carlos at May 17, 2006 09:49 AM (8e/V4)

A “dhimmi” is a non-muslim (Jew or Christian) living among their Muslim conquerors. And are only aloud to do so within certain limitations.
I have no idea were you get this from that forces you to apply it on us. Maybe itÂ’s some twisted self-interpretation of how you look at Europe! That can be, I have no idea how you look at Europeans in general anyhow. But you certainly are talking nonsense! Or you are geographically mistaken by the south part of Spain and the Balkans that were ones under Islamic rule. Hundreds and Hundreds of years ago!
Of course I didnÂ’t mean to say that Latinos are beating their wives as part of their cult. The metaphor was pretty clear I think!
YouÂ’re right about nuance and subtlety and that is what Europeans are focusing on!
