1 Have you read the letters he sent to the Tarheel? Ramblings about reality and truth and the constant motion of atoms as a preamble to the rest of his reasoning. He then searches for a way to rationalize and absolve himself of guilt for his actions. And he did all this before he did the deed so he could go about it with a clear conscience. In the second letter he says that because the American taxpayer funds the military they are guilty and should be punished. Yet, these were college students. How does he know which ones were working and paying taxes and which ones were full time students without jobs? He had a job and paid taxes. Isn't he guilty too? Not in his mind. He goes on to say that it is a crime for Allah's believers to kill more of the enemy than they have killed of Allah's believers. However, he then goes on to rationalize that even if more of the un-believers are killed than believers, if one did not "intend" to kill more, he is still not guilty of a crime. So that leaves them wide open to do whatever they want and all they have to do is lie about it. There's a lot more warped and tortured logic in his letters. They guy is a psychology major too. Unbelievable.
