Real Life Cripple Fight

south_park_cripple_fight.jpgDo not laugh at this. I repeat: Do. Not. Laugh. At. This.

Man Without Legs Fights Deaf Guy:

Kent Hisey, 52, became frustrated by the difficulty of James Mills, who is deaf, in communicating directions....Hisey, who has two prosthetic legs, stopped his car at the Porter County Airport, got out and used his walker to go around to the passenger side, where he grabbed Mills to pull him from the car, police said.

Mills allegedly pushed Hisey to the ground, causing him to hit his head.

If you laughed, you are a bad person. A very very bad person.

1 I am glad you find the term "cripple" so amusing. I am a paraplegic and I don't find anything at all funny about your post or the South Park reference. During my childhood the term was used exclusivley by people who wished to deride and demean me and others afflicted by a disablility...its a shame to see you indulging in the same infantile behaviour. I have been enjoying your blog for almost a year now on a daily basis, but no more. I will never visit your blog again.

3 Why is cripple such an offensive word? It's an apt description, but it's honest, which means that it isn't PC, so it must be offensive.
