Preventing an ACCURATE Fake
Paul at Wizbang notes why CBS disabled the copy function for the PDF document detailing the Rathergate 'investigation'---they were worried bloggers might alter the content and pass the forged document along as authentic.

That's a lot like worrying that the Secret Service is in the counterfeiting business.
Which reminds me of this girl I once new with enormous boobs. Were they real? Who cares, as long as they were ACCURATE.

Using Apple's Preview application, which opens pdf files, you can select the text and cut/paste it into your editor of choice. Nice try CBS.

on the matter of fake boobs, a lot of people care, including me. Just don't like them.
As always, I try to support my comments with a link or two to a pertinent website.

And if you aren't a Mac person (like me) Acrobat rips it apart just fine, like a good number of us don't have a full version. It only takes a couple of us, and the Internet will do the rest!
BTW, Rusty - I can't remember... was our goal to be the first Mortal Humans or Higher Beings to achieve that status sans an Instalanche.
I ask, because for one, glorious day, I was a Mortal Human, thanks to whatever it is NZ is doing in his backoffice.
And I'm still sans Instalanche. Though I now know how to score one... I just have to host the Red Ensign Standard.
