Pot Meet Kettle

The Canadian Islamic Congress, which supports sharia law in Canada and elsewhere, is claiming that the new Conservative government is about to usher in a police state. Ironical.

Funny - if I saw a police state coming - I would be packing my bags. Are they?

Where'd they go? If Canada is a 'police state' what the hell is Pakistan?

They are (CIC) indeed the people who are the most affraid of those changes in the Canadian Law. In fact, the vast majority of the people I know wants these amendments to be made! You know what, these modifications will protect us much more than the disastrous gun control policy à la Paul Martin... - Max

Very ironical indeed, Rusty. These people are supposed to know what means a police state. By saying that Canada could possibly become one, just because the conservative have been elected (as a minority!) makes me wonder how can they be so stupid... - Max

If you check out their website you see just how radical they are.

I think the Canadian people need to pack the bags of these Islamists and send them back to wherever they came from. That's exactly what Canada and the US and Europe should do before these people cause any more devilment(as my grandmother used to say).

Well... Shouldn't they be happy then?

Bravo, Canada. If your security measures are worrying the CIC, you're doing something right. Yeah JJ. Making them pack their bags would be sweet. If they want to live under sharia law, it's not like there aren't lots of countries with it already to choose from. They could save themselves alot of time and effort this way.

Canada is becoming a police state?!?!? I'll need *Well Over* a dozen Bradors -- the old 12% alcohol kind -- to believe that one! And then, the next day, I'll wake up around the crack of noon, and... Bill

Leftists and muslim extremists both squeal and cry foul when any government tries to curb their so called civil liberties, i.e. the right to hate and actively undermine their own society and country. Look at it this way, the greater the intensity of leftwing/muslim extremist protestation to a piece of policy/law/legislation, the better that policy/law/legislation is.

Oh darn! Their momentum towards Sharia law has had the brakes put on it. Poor dears. Does anyone know the outcome of talks about allowing Sharia Law in their civil courts late last summer? I can't remember which part of Canada it was.

You're damn right Mathew; all one need do is read Marx and Lenin, then compare activist groups and historical events with their plans to destroy civilization, and you'll see that nothing liberals have ever done has been for the good of civilization of humanity, regardless of the situation. They have managed to be on the winning side in many issues, and thereby can claim to have been right, and every time we've let them win, our society slips a little closer to oblivion. It all started with the womens' suffrage movement, which was a valid cause that they tried, and partially turned to their own use, which was erosion of the established power structure. Then was collectivism, which succeeded more than we realize, because it gave us Socialist Security and the labor unions, both of which still impede our economy today, and threaten future generations with economic collapse. Then they infiltrated the civil rights movement, and steered it toward what it is today; an establishment of racist demogoguery run by con artists and scammers like Sharpton, Farrakhan, Jackson, et al, who by rights should be relegated to hustling three card monty on streetcorners and pimping, but who instead, thanks to liberalism, wield considerable power in our society, which in itself is a telling fact. Nothing liberals have ever touched has turned out for the better, but quite the contrary, everything they take an interest in only results in the degredation of society to the point that we have now, when citizens of formerly great nations won't even stand up against a savage, primitive invader because they just don't care enough. Liberals should all be killed before it's too late.

Oyster, It is Ontario. They are still in court debating about this, I think. But from what I heard, there's no chance they'll get it. People in Québec have already said no, for sure... - Max

So what will they say next to get attention from the New York Pravda?

All you need to do is type Alex Jones in a google search or go to infowars.com and see all the hours of documentation they have on what is really going on in the US, and then you can wonder how our Canadian government is following suit. Hey, our farmers know how the government is slowing taking away our property rights and controlling our firearms. Want to get an idea of what is coming next? www.infowars.com Do not take my word for anything, check it out yourself! Brant
