Petition to Censure Jimmy Carter

I received a press release tonight from Move American Forward announcing their efforts to have Congress formally censure former President Jimmy Carter, who been behaving rather...erratically...of late. In fact, at times it seems that Carter doesn't realize that he's no longer an elected official, and has taken it upon himself to negotiate with foreign governments and campaign against UN resolutions that would serve America's interests. Move America Forward has set up a website to gather petitions for a Congressional censure:

Since leaving office, President Jimmy Carter has repeatedly sought to undermine U.S. foreign policy, criticized the missions of the men and women of the United States Armed Forces, as well as embracing known terrorists and terrorist organizations. Most recently, President Carter pressured the international community to provide funding for the terrorist organization Hamas.
They claim to have collected over 5,000 signatures within hours of activating the site.

1 If by "censure" you mean "put a bullet in his head", I'd like to open the bidding at $10,000.00, which I would come up with even if I had to sell a kidney. Now to find a liberal with healthy kidneys...

2 So you give him a strongly worded letter - what's that supposed to achieve? As long as he doesn't have any real power when it comes to US policy making, let him say whatever he wants. The greatest punishment will be to have it permanently recorded in the history books what a lousy President he was while in office and what an embarrassing, traitorous loon he became afterwards.

The Logan Act, the only other U.S law that is hardly ever enforced (second to Treason) and comes with a fine, or three year prison sentence, for exactly what he is doing, even Senator rockefeller met the criteria when he took it upon himself to discuss U.S policy with Saudia Arabia and other middle-eastern countries pre-Iraq war in regards to the up-coming war.

6 Everytime Jimmy shows up, just call his brother Billy, and ask him to show up too. That should be enough to make Jimmy hide.

7 Doesn't the Constitution say something about the President being the only one with the right to negotiate with foreign governments? This is no small matter, but we've brooked so much treason for so long, it seems small in comparison. Carter should be charged, tried, found guilty, and publicly hanged for treason, and I would pay any amount of money to get to kick the props out from under him.
