The first time I remember hearing the word 'homophobia' was about 20 years ago. I laughed my ass off when I first heard the term because the thought of being afraid of gays or the thought of being called latently homosexual is absurd. It's a word that was coined by some liberal sociology professor and that in itself makes it pretty easy to dismiss. I don't care if someone is gay or not because it's not my place to judge. People like Natasha need to stop taking themselves so seriously. I'm sure she thinks we're all guilty of hate speech.

I knew it was the beginning of the end when they added snowboarding.. bahhh. Did you hear the breathless interviews with some of the snowboard people? Every sentence contained the word, "Dude". It was real stupid.

I'd argue that the biathalon is far more straight than hockey. You don't have to touch other sweaty men and you don't end up in the same shower together afterwards. Yes, I would rather see something like a .270 Win or a .338 Lapua in the event than a .22 rifle, but it's still shooting, and that's an "athletic skill" that will save your life, as opposed to touching a man in a hockey rink.

My wife says I'm a world class channel changer. Keeping with the theme this topic has taken on, I don't know if homosexuals fall on the man or woman side of this issue. I did not say that you shouldn't be allowed to defend them or that anyone shouldn't be allowed. Neither did I imply that anyone, gay, black or "Xian", should not be allowed to defend their "right to equal treatment under the law", since you now want to bring the law and rights into it.
Don't put words in my mouth.
