NY Times Putting Troops in Danger?

CBS finally exercising some editorial discretion. NY Times, though, seems to be passing on information that could be exploited by terrorists to kill our troops in Iraq.

1 The armor question has been openly discussed. In this article two retired Lt.Col (army and marine) discuss the problems. http://www.pbs.org/newshour/bb/middle_east/jan-june06/armor_1-11.html I am not sure of how sophicticated the training is of terrorist snipers.

3 I'd like to see the NYT blown up on live video with all aboard; that'd be news worth hearing.

4 There was another paper in just the last few days (maybe it was the Times) that at the last minute pulled a story at the request of the Pentagon that would have explained, in detail, new ways the military is handling the IED problem in Iraq. These idiots only hold back grudgingly and sometimes only briefly with much whining and complaining of "Censorship!" the whole time. They have little regard for the damage they do. I'm with IM. Except I don't want anyone hurt, but I'd sure like to see their systems go down. And I'd like to know what morons give them all this detailed information so I can punch them myself.

5 Instead of putting our troops in danger, wouldn't it be nice to have American newspapers print some information that would actually help them. What about some positive information about the progress in Iraq? I don't think I read anywhere in these major papers that in January, Iraqi Security Forces planned and executed 27% of the total operations in Iraq. I guess this isn't good news... I'm ashamed to think how these troops feel when they hear about the type of things blasted through our media here in America. They need to know we support them, and this is clearly not the way to do it...

6 Is anyone else noticing how my comments draw so little negative reaction these days? In fact, more and more people are starting to sound like me. It makes it worth getting up in the morning to know that I'm not alone in this fight.
