Now That's What I Call Active Activism

Heh, time for some funny:

Police said a paraplegic activist for Southern California's disabled managed to leap from her wheelchair and run.

Of course, this is an AP story, which is why, even after she got up from a wheelchair and ran, they insist on calling her a "paraplegic."

1 Of course, this is an AP story, which is why, even after she got up from a wheelchair and ran, they insist on calling her a "paraplegic." Well, she was a paraplegic, before she wasn't one. See how it works?

2 A few years back a guy lived across the street from me who had a son on the permanent disability doll from the state of WA. This guy was a real outdoorsman and was retired from the Navy. He had a good job at NAS Everett and always took off on the weekends with his huge 5th wheel. He would tell us about his kid who was in his late 20’s. He was on State LI insurance and said he would never get off. He had a “back injury” which prevented him from working any job any time in the future. I always got mad when he stopped off with his newer pick up truck to hook up his dad’s jet ski trailer to go over to Eastern WA to party all weekend. His dad knew he was a looser and he is probably still on the doll. Must be a million cases like this all over America. Makes me sick

3 Wait.....you misread the news quotation. It wasn't a paraplegic who ran, it was a "paraplegic activist". You know, the activism has nothing at all, whatsoever, with the so-called condition. You know, like "humanitarian activists" can be very un-humanitarian, "peace activists" can support genocidal dictators. Happens all the time, know what I mean?

4 These people, in their self-centered greed, have no idea what damage they do besides just scamming the system for money that doesn't belong to them. It causes more regulation to be enacted and more costs to comply with that regulation, for one thing.
