As much as I love the military, it doesn't change the fact that DOD is just as inept a bureaucracy as any of the others.

Speaking as a ten-year man who got medically discharged with 0% disability for a bad back, which still gives me trouble ten years later, I really wish I could say that I was surprised at the horrible treatment that he got, but I can't. The Army doesn't care about soldiers in the least, and nor does the VA.
