MSM Monster Staging "Dangerous Situations"

When our friends at NODNC sent us this funny little parody about "the media monster", I didn't know what to do with it. That is, until The House of Wheels sent us this story.

Short version: Liberal TV producer asks soldiers to stand behind General. Liberal TV host asks General if situation isn't safe given that General needs soldiers standing behind him to protect him. General gets pissed.

The media monster indeed. Go check out the story, but make sure to watch the video here. It's pretty un-freaking-believable. Apparently the Australian media suffers the same deficiencies as their American counterparts.

1 So.. when does Main Stream Media ever tell a complete truth? And why does American Media act that way? Do they not see that if America is lost to an occupying force or ideology, they will no longer have jobs (at best)? Slanted Media is its own (and ours, sometimes) worst enemy. Well.. not really but they are in the Top 10.

2 There have been 48, yes 48, deaths from drug overdoses in Detroit since May 13. Now this should be a national story, and perhaps it was, but I sure missed it. I wonder how many soldiers died in Iraq during this time frame. I'll bet it was more dangerous being a drug addict in Wayne County than a soldier in Iraq, yet the media ignores stories like this. Yes, media monster is the correct term. The destroyer of everything to get a story, to frame a story, to fabricate a story,.....and so on. When the Left took over the academy, I wonder what we expected to happen. This is what I call reality. The reality of an agenda, with the power to promote it, and all that is standing in the way are a few citizens like Rusty and Charles Johnson and Michelle Malkin and...well, now, I'm starting to feel better. Perhaps the breach in the line can be reinforced after all. Thanks Pajamas Media, Radio Talk, and a very few journalists of the old school who subcribe to the journalistic law of when, where, why and how.

3 Joe when I googled heroin deaths in the news I got 900 plus hits. Here is a link to the USA Today story on it http://www.usatoday.com/news/health/2006-05-04-heroin-mix_x.htm

4 Jeep Thang: You are blaming the AMERICAN news media for something that happened in Australia. No offense, but take a deep breath. Exhale slowly. Feel better?

5 Regarding Australian MSM; I think they are even more anti-military than the US MSM.

6 The MSM sells whatever their customers want to hear. It is a very "free market" You don't like what "Time" magazine says..... don't buy it. You don't like National Review, don't buy it. You don't like Pravda, don't buy it.

7 There are some countries where they cannot make a choice on what they buy. Haven't you heard?
