More talking points from the left debunked........
The demographic study involved 1,841 service personnel who were killed and 12,658 who were wounded, as of May 28.
Whites, who constitute 67 percent of the active-duty and reserve forces, accounted for 71 percent of the fatalities. Blacks are 17 percent of the overall force and were 9 percent of the fatalities. Hispanics are 9 percent of the force and were 10 percent of the fatalities.
Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders are 3 percent of the force and were 3 percent of the fatalities. American Indian/Alaskan Natives are 1 percent in each category. The race of the remaining fatalities was listed as "multiple or unknown."
Isn't it refreshing when the press actually do their own homework.

True but the myths will continue - its part of the left's standard BS line. Its not going to convince any on the left because they don't deal in truth so don't even bother.

When the total reaches 100%, then they can openly support our enemies. Right now they have skirt the issue.

This must be proof of a lack of equal opportunity for people of color.

The Left doesn't care about the number of whites killed in Iraq. They're more concerned by the number of "Michael Moore Minutemen" killed by the coalition.

So, according to these numbers, George Bush hates white people and hispanic people.

Not surprising at all. When I was in the Army, I spent three years at Fort Bragg on active duty in an Air Assault artillery unit which was part of the 18th Field Artillery Brigade, the 18th Airborne Corp's general support artillery. We were dual-tasked with supporting the 101st and 82nd Airborne Divisions, and thus had lots of contact with the outstanding soldiers of these two elite divisions, whose members are all volunteers.
You see, in the Army, you volunteer to join, then you choose your Military Occupational Speciality, or MOS, such as Infantry, Artillery, Armor, or the more gentle jobs such as Clerk-Typist, Graves Registration, or Supply. Then you can volunteer for special training, such as Air Assault, Airborne, Ranger, Special Forces, etc.. Nobody is forced to undergo any training or to take any job they don't want. If you don't want to be Infantry, they don't want you in the Infantry.
These fine soldiers that I met in the 82nd and 101st were all volunteers to be soldiers, infantrymen, and Airborne or Air Assault, and not because The Man said they had to be, but because they wanted to be. I noticed something about these units that contrasted starkly with support type units: They were mostly made up of white guys, while other units, such as quartermaster, personnel-activities, or finance units, were sometimes almost all minorities. Now this isn't to say there are no blacks or hispanics putting themselves in harm's way, but only that in the finance unit I had to use at Fort Bragg, I only ever saw a couple of white faces, and one of them was a female, whereas the infantrymen I met on field exercises were mostly white, with a higher instance of hispanic men than I saw in support units, but I found very few blacks in these elite units.
I know some libtard, or PC infected non-libtard is going to read this and call me all sorts of names, or at least accuse me of the sin of truth-telling, which will mean absolutely nothing to me, because I'm immune to PC whining, so there.

Maximus,
You are absolutely right. It was the same way during the Gulf War, with the vast majority of combat and elite combat units not only composed of whites, but whites from the so-called red states.
There are National Guard units over in Iraq more representative of the US population, but they tend to take fewer casualties. Nonetheless, the white population always does the bulk of the fighting for the US, with very few exceptions, one being our hispanic brothers.

You are quite right - it is an unspoken subject. Note however that black officers gravitate to Combat Arms (you don't become a General graduating from the motor pool). Same holds true for black NCOs in Combat Arms - the best always find the path to the other best). This is one of those issues we tend to let "the brothers handle". Maybe PC but can't figure out any other way to handle or approach this at this time. This is all tied in to the internal (and eternal) REMF debate.

You're right hondo, but officers are a different animal entirely than enlisted, and NCO's fall into two basic categories: professional soldiers and BS artists promoted by default. I have known many NCO's and officers of all types, and some of the best I've known were black, and some of the worst I've known were white, so there is no hard and fast rule about who is a good soldier and who isn't. However, the percentage of black soldiers just drawing a paycheck is certainly higher than the percentage of white soldiers doing the same. It seems that the entitlement mentality that is fostered by liberalism in the civilian world works just as well in the military, though many inflicted with this thinking manage to overcome it and learn how to live with a purpose in the Army, that is, if we can just keep the liberals from meddling with it.

Oh my God. You racist bastards are spilling the beans.
Here's a good one. How many blacks did you see dropping from helicopters to save black asses from the flood in New Orleans. Answer: 0. Notice last Christmas when the news media had soldiers on camera. How many of them were the whites and hispanic men leading the way in Fallujah. Notice the majority interviewed on television were unmarried black females with two or more illegitimate children back home being watched my their mamas. Those of us with open eyes and the courage to say what they see are branded racist. A name that I carry with pride. Great pride.

Damn! Doesn't it feel great to be able to speak the truth without fear of the Gestapo coming after you? Things are turning around in this country, but it's like turning a train around, sometimes you just gotta go full circle.
Hmmm... Turn around... Go full circle... To turn in a circle is to revolve. A single, full turn is called a... REVOLUTION!!!
