6 If the press suppresses a story, is that a lack of press freedom? One would think that if a segment of the population were not being represented within the press that the market potential would motivate some new entries. As a result, I'm less inclined to see this as bias, than to see it as a kind of industry-wide paradigm failure. They have what they think is the "hot story," and it's easy to just keep churning out the same old boilerplate, so anything that makes the job tougher or more challenging is just ash-canned. I mean, FOX isn't reporting the full story either.
