Liberal "Tolerance" Results in Cat Fight

Michelle is pretty miffed at Wonkette. Let the hair fly. Since I'm deaf from liberals whining about our comments, It feels good to stick a thumb in their eye. I dunno Michelle looks quick and wire like. Probably knows martial arts too, Oh wait I take that back

Update cat vs Dog. Wonkette is all "males" now. I still think Michelle can take em.

1 Hmmm...I really don't know why the Slutette would make a whore joke about Michelle, hasn't the Slutette looked in the mirror lately?

2 You guys know that Ana Marie Cox left Wonkette months ago, right? It's two guys posting over there now.

Posted by: Allah at May 20, 2006 11:48 AM (CbBW/)

3 It's amazing how easily the leftards, unable to form cogent arguments for their positions, are reduced to ridiculous blubbering by even the most light-hearted of criticism. Score one--a big one--for Michelle Malkin! I would have commented at Wonkette's, by the way, but I'm not in the "club." Yet another demonstration of liberal openness.

6 Someone, anyone, tell me why liberals shouldn't all be killed in as gruesome and intertaining, yet cost-effective and time-efficient a manner as can be contrived?

Posted by: Improbulus Maximus at May 20, 2006 12:51 PM (0yYS2)

7 Correction: entertaining.

8 Time-efficient? No my friend, they have to die slowly. Otherwise they never learn nothin'! And money is no object.

9 If you like killing and torture for pleasure IM, go join Al-queda, or the Sunnis, or the Shites.

10 Michelle doesn't have to take on anybody. Within a year Wonkette's lame ass humour well will run dry and those guys'll have to fall back on guest writing Bush = Hitler pieces for leftie sites, while Michelle'll keep on being a successful journalist with important stuff.....like respect and financial independence.

Posted by: Graeme at May 20, 2006 01:19 PM (V4NnT)

11 Hmmm....killing and torture for pleasure. What an argument. Pretty shallow actually. Hey what a minute. Does IM have a swastika on his forehead?

Posted by: Garner at May 20, 2006 01:55 PM (aYuiN)

14 I see you're still gasping, Larry. What a lame ass attempt at humor, especially as regards elections in NO, where the dead Demoncrats, I mean Democrats, have been voting for generations. Or was I right the first time? Oh, never mind, same damn thing.

Posted by: jesusland joe at May 20, 2006 01:56 PM (rUyw4)

15 Bury me in New Orleans, so I can stay active in politics... And let me say I find it highly amusing that anyone responsible for Jawa would criticize the tastesfulness of some other sites posting board. Jawa features numerous posters who advocate genocide, denigrate other religions, and make off color (and pretty funny) references. Oh, and casual references to the mentally retarded.

16 I think the Wonker is just jealous of a hottie like Michelle. Besides...I don't think there is much market for a butch videoblog at least not from a political view.

18 Everyone is brave and ready to kill someone when posting anonomously on the internet. The fact that IM boasts and blusters about it so much is proof that he's a poseur/coward and would never go through with it. I'm guessing he's about 12 anyway.

22 Here's a cogent argument for you (I would've posted it on Malkin's site, but she doesn't allow for comments, another example of conservative openess) Malkin has been on her Mohammad Cartoon Jihad kick for a while now. So apparently it's vitally important for democracy that cartoons (which are so offensive to a group of people that it causes violent protest) be shoved down all our throats (After all, they're just cartoons for our Lord Jesus Christ's sakes!) But when somebody makes offensive jokes towards her, it's like, totally different. No doubt because she made some complex moral reasoning weighing racist speech versus anti-religious imagery that she didn't let us in on, and not because she has a wildly inconsistent worldview that all Republicans don't not have. Well y'know what, if Wonkette can't make racist sexist jokes about Michelle Malkin, the terrorists win. I do love this argument that conservatives have become fond of lately- "Sure, in general we are pretty intolerant towards all non-whites, non-Christians, intellectuals, immigrants, dirty poor people, dirty French people, etc... But look at how intolerant all of them are towards us!" They then take the most outrageous liberal statement they can find, even if they have to scavenge for forum trolls and go through their anonymous hate mail, and then hold it up as the mainstream liberal view while ignoring anything approaching reasoned critique. Hear that sound? That's the sound of democracy dying slowly and painfully. Thank you conservative punditry!

Posted by: Blooper at May 21, 2006 01:48 AM (S2+uh)

23 AAAH, Blooper, Have ya looked lately at the Leaders of the Dem party??

Posted by: mike at May 21, 2006 05:22 AM (w3HDb)

24 Blooper, pray tell, please point to where Malkin calls for the death or censorship of Wonkette. Or the part where she threatens anyone with life or limb. Or the part where you're forced not to ignore her. Because I can't see where Malkin, Kos, LGF, DU or even Wonkette or any of these internet pundits are causing that sound you hear. If you ask me, all of this 'hipocrisy', 'sniping' and 'vibrant speech' indicates that democracy and particularly the first amendment you allude to is as alive as ever. Wonkette still has as much a right to made bad jokes as anyone. And if Malkin is being a hipocrite or anything else is beside the point. She still has a right to be offended as much as you have a right to be critical of her voicing of her offense. I noticed you didn't mention that she didn't stoop to the same level in her complaint. Just look at the guy's picture and tell me it isn't ripe for comment. You complain bitterly about the 'supposed' vital importance of Mohammed cartoons being "shoved down our throats" and then assert the 'not so supposed' importance of Wonkette's right to make racist, sexist jokes by insering the "terrorists win" argument? Your argument would only be "cogent" and "reasoned critique" if you recognized both sides as being petty while you're casting stones in this direction.

Posted by: Oyster at May 21, 2006 05:38 AM (YudAC)

25 So what do you want me to do MiB; reach across the internet and bitchslap you? I consider insults from gutless, chickenshit liberals like you to be compliments, considering who your friends are.

Posted by: Improbulus Maximus at May 21, 2006 07:35 AM (0yYS2)

26 "Everyone is brave and ready to kill someone when posting anonomously on the internet." And when they send emails from a safe distance, slurring them with labels like childish, evil, racist, xenophobic socialists. [Yawn]

Posted by: Oyster at May 21, 2006 08:18 AM (YudAC)

27 Blooper, Thanks for demonstrating my point that Liberals in general lack the intellectual capacity to argue cogently for their positions. There are a few exceptions. You aren't one of them.

Posted by: Brett Bullington at May 21, 2006 09:49 AM (/QYGF)

28 Blooper, I didn't find the cartoons were "shoved down our throats" at all. The only part of the story that got shoved down our throats was the part where people who previously had no problems slandering Jesus and christianity suddenly "found religion" and refused to print the cartoons out of "respect" for islam/muslims. That's the part that got shoved down our throat. With that kind of double standards towards christians no wonder they hate your fucking guts.

Posted by: Jesusland Carlos at May 21, 2006 09:55 AM (8e/V4)

29 I agree with Oyster. Malkin's criticism of Wonkette comes with no fatwa. Being offended by someone's speech and advocating the importance of fighting those who kill when offended are not contradictory. You do not give up your right to criticize the speech of others when you fight against those who fundamentally misunderstand free speech.

31 If Wonkette is now written by two guys, shouldn't the name be Wonker (or better yet, Wanker)?

Posted by: Hangtown Bob at May 21, 2006 02:57 PM (CcSNC)

32 Blooper: At what point is publishing anything "shoving it down peoples' throats"? Is publishing a story about the hated Yankees shoving it down people's throats? Is publishing a conservative viewpoint in San Francisco, or a liberal viewpoint in Kansas shoving it down people's throats? Others have already noted the rather marked difference between what Malkin has done (object) and what those who opposed the cartoons have done (burned embassies, threatened lives). If your nuanced view of reality is such as to not recognize the basic, qualitative differences between the two, then perhaps the fault lies, not with Malkin, but in yourself?

Posted by: Lurking Observer at May 21, 2006 05:20 PM (3bV3I)

33 That wasn't funny. It was HYSTERICAL. Thanks for pointing it out to me - I stopped checking Malkin's site for dumb remarks a while ago. I think it was the whole illegal-immigrants-are-al-Qaeda thing where I just couldn't take the BS anymore and de-linked her. Nice to know she's still a nutjob.

35 Blacks in New Orleans would elect O.J. Simpson or a child molesting killer major if he were black and the other candidate white. While they beg and demand money from the rest of the country they sit on their asses and complain. Damn liberals educated them that way. Now they are worthless to themselves or anyone else.

39 I kind fo see what you all are saying about Michelle overreacing a bit. I like all the insults and orneryness. But after so much even I get annoyed. With our volume moderating comments and trying to be fair, dealing with spam, trolls, etc etc. It gets to be a pain/annoying. For Michelle it must be just that much worse. She probably just got fed up and felt like giving a bit back.

Posted by: Howie at May 22, 2006 09:58 AM (D3+20)

40 "Neither one em of believing in nothing." That's a double negative, Howie. You're saying I do believe in something, and for that, I thank you. We won't even get into your dyslexic sentence structure.

You see, IM's rantings are more humorous than macho. He does make the best death threats on the web. The one about kicking you into a trench actually made me chuckle out loud!

Posted by: Jesusland Carlos at May 22, 2006 11:32 AM (8e/V4)

45 >>>She probably just got fed up and felt like giving a bit back. That's my major pet peeve about Liberals blogging. They make the constant personal attacks, and then when you hit back that just proves in their own minds what meanies the rightwingers are! Morons.

Posted by: Jesusland Carlos at May 22, 2006 11:34 AM (8e/V4)

46 IM is Jawa Report's resident terrorist. He pretty much renders himself null and void with his kill rhetoric. Like hitting yourself on the head with a hammer. After a while you forget to notice the pain. Though I never tire of images of muslim corpses dangling from overpasses. However, I do wish to preserve my liberal ass. Or conservative ass. Which is it? I don't know and don't want to know. Call me a moderate.

Posted by: Last gasp Larry at May 22, 2006 11:41 AM (FCC6c)

47 "You see, IM's rantings are more humorous than macho. He does make the best death threats on the web. The one about kicking you into a trench actually made me chuckle out loud!" If there's one thing all Republicans love, it's a good death threat. A death threat on an abortion doctor will get you 1,000 megadittos! It takes a pretty sick individual to find death threats "humorous" (not to mention moderators letting them stand), but I think my "Mountain Dew and Cheetos" remark pretty much describes how threatening I find them.

Posted by: Theo at May 22, 2006 11:53 AM (7AEHv)

48 Theo, you libs don't seem to mind the death threats by muslims-- actually carried out-- nearly as much as you seem to mind the faux death threats by IM and seemingly non-existent death threats by christians against abortion doctors (none actually carried out since the Crusades, apparently). Hmmm, I wonder why. And if finding IM humorous makes me a sick individual, what does that make you Libs who ignore death threats actually carried out by muslims? Where was the Liberal intelligentsia and art community when Theo Van Gogh was butchered in broad daylight? Where is the Liberal intelligentsia and art community when critics are forced into hiding for fear of their lives? Crickets chirping, that's where. So you can imagine what I think of your "outrage" about what a sick individual I am.

Posted by: Jesusland Carlos at May 22, 2006 12:09 PM (8e/V4)

49 ps., not to mention, if you don't really find his remarks threatening, then why are your panties all in a tizzy? It wouldn't be for the cheap rhetorical point scoring, would it? nah!

Posted by: Jesusland Carlos at May 22, 2006 12:16 PM (8e/V4)

50 JC, just because I haven't commented on fatwas (a term this site has embraced as its own) doesn't mean I approve of them. Here: I disapprove of fatwas. They're bad. Happy? And here's a little primer on violence at abortion clinics: http://www.religioustolerance.org/abo_viol.htm Murder, arson, bombings, assault - you'll LOVE it.

Posted by: Theo at May 22, 2006 12:25 PM (7AEHv)

51 >>>JC, just because I haven't commented on fatwas (a term this site has embraced as its own) doesn't mean I approve of them. I see. And yet you can impute to me the threats by the anti-abortion fringe ("A death threat on an abortion doctor will get you 1,000 megadittos!"). That's a neat trick! And I can counter by imputing to you the eco--terrorists whom you Lefties love so much, who make the anti-abortion fringe look like rank amateurs. According to your website and this one at http://www.taemag.com/issues/articleID.17751/article_detail.asp, your environmental fringe has caused more economic damage in one month than the anti-abortion fringe has caused in over 20 years.

Posted by: Jesusland Carlos at May 22, 2006 12:42 PM (8e/V4)

52 That's clearly a sarcastic statement, JC. If you took it seriously, that's your problem. And again, you try to create controversy where there is none. (Michelle Malkin would be flipping hamburgers if that didn't work on you people.) I don't support eco-terrorism any more than you do abortion terrorists. That you've dipped in that well twice regarding me would suggest that while you may or may not be a "sick individual", your debate skills are clearly lacking.

Posted by: Theo at May 22, 2006 12:52 PM (7AEHv)

53 >>>That's clearly a sarcastic statement, JC. If you took it seriously, that's your problem. But clearly all my comments are to be taken dead seriously (no pun intended), like the one where kicking you into a trench was amusing. Now that's what I call debating skills! You've mastered them.

Posted by: Jesusland Carlos at May 22, 2006 01:02 PM (8e/V4)

54 Let's see, let me get this straight. So JC's threats are real and to be taken seriously while IM's are merely for entertainment and chuckles. Okay! I'm set! P.S. I think both parties are corrupt to the core and should all be taken out and hanged by the neck etc., etc., but especially libturds like you. I'm a Gulf War veteran and have in fact killed men, real men with real guns, which I didn't like because they weren't my enemy by their own choice, but it was them or me. I wouldn't hesitate a second to off your sorry asses though, but I also wouldn't waste lead on you either, unless I could get more than one with the same shot to avoid wasting a bullet. And I don't make threats, just statements, though you libturds are too stupid to know the difference. You are my enemies and can expect no mercy when the time comes, and that right soon, with any luck.
