about meeting with the UN Security Council? I thought news, by definition, had to be--you know--sort of "new" or something, or at least something out of the ordinary. The video over at
is good for a few chuckles.
has some pretty interesting thoughts.
As for me, I'm not so troubled by Kerry's alleged meeting. Far more troubling to me is his naive belief that if only we had a different President, the UN Security Council would have acted different. This personality theory of foreign policy is unprecedented and dangerous. Instead of assuming that nations act out of their own national interests, it assumes that nations do each other favors based on personal relationships. Yeah, the French may be John Kerry's homies, but they aint gonna do him no props. Cause when it gets down to it they gots to get paid and national interest is thicker than malt liquor.

Here's where you analysis steers in the wrong direction:
Far more troubling to me is his naive belief that if only we had a different President, the UN Security Council would have acted different.
What leads you to believe that that's Kerry's "belief?"

I don't think Kerry actually believes it, any more than any other accomplished prevaricator believes their latest whopper.
The democratic faithful, the Michael Moore knob-gobblers, and other assorted dumbshits will swallow it whole, though.
It doesn't matter what John Kerry says. His glazy eyed, anybody but Bush followers will believe it.

Was there ever a post on here about Cheney lying saying he never met Edwards before the debates?
Oh ya and this is funny, with that the IQ post below and all.

I'm not a Kerry supporter either I just like the holier than thou attitudes everybody has. M.Moore is just a fat guy in a clown suit too, but its Bush who has the emperors new clothes on.

Yep. Cheyney lied about meeting Edwards.
So is it "Laughing My Ass Off" or "Love My Anal Orifice" ?
Inquiring minds want to know.

I don't know... Did Cheney lie or did Edwards just not leave an impression?
There are degrees: Being mistaken, lying, and premeditated lying.

Moonbat: It is entirely plausable that Cheney simply did not remember meeting an insignificant Senator who rarely shows up to work. John Kerry, however, is alleging that he actively sought out and met with the worldÂ’s top diplomats. Which he did not.
ItÂ’s omission vs. comission. Next time put down the cool aid and pull your head out of your ass before commenting.

It does not matter whether Cheyney omitted or committed. The impact of the statement on national television at that moment is what is important. No one gave a shit about the fact that he had met Edwards, and I bet few undecided voters will be swayed by whether or not Kerry talked to UN Sec Council or not. He was never in Cambodia, either. Kerry made his impression. That is all he is, an impression. Underneath that botox skin is a slimy green ooze.

Mr. K. seems i struck a nerve. But still your grade school humour is cute, don't think i don's appreciate it.
Leopold... rarely showing up for work sounds like Bush pre-9/11

Bill,
Kerry's entire foreign policy agenda is one predicated upon his personality theory. BTW-patent on "personality theory"!! All of his statements, so far, have been that if he were President things would be different--even when he claims he would have done the same stuff as Bush.

Perhaps it is Lying My Ass Off? You write you are no Kerry supporter, but you are certainly anti-Bush...reading between the lines, I'd say it is I who struck the nerve...sorry 'bout that.

hmmm... where did i lie again? maybe you should stop reading into things. I think in this world I can be anti-Bush and anti-Kerry at the same time. Keep up with the name calling though, I do find it funny. And don't be sorry, the only thing you struck was my funny bone. You just resorted to name calling so I figured i struck a nerve. Are we done with this banter yet?
Posted by: LMAO at October 25, 2004 12:37 PM (p5xDI)

yes, you can be anti-both, but in a two horse race, you gotta choose one or the other.
when you say Bush was not around pre-911, I smell a FatnWhite 911 movie lover.
Banter? I never struck anything. I wouldn't touch your "funny bone" with a ten foot pole! Can I ask, were you born that way, or did you learn it somewhere?

your sense of smell is as good as your line reading. horrible.
and it seems that your knowledge of anatomy is as well. Bwahaha...was i born that way? I hope you graduate past the kindergarden comedy act so I can have some better laughs.

so, you WERE born that way...well, to each his own!

HAHAHAHA!!! I didn't even answer that question. Now I know you were one of the people Program on International Policy Attitudes surveyed to get their results that Bush supporters aren't as smart as Kerry supporters. At least Bush is a genius, thank your lucky stars for that Corky. Life Goes On.

I can't believe liberal dumbasses are still bring up the WMD thing. Doesn't anyone realize it doesn't matter. WMD (liberals nitwits favorite word) was just one of many reasons to show force in the middle east after 9/11. The Islamic assholes are in one region. Most of the fanatics are now in Iraq. Better there than here. There would have been more serious attacks thoughout the world if the Islamic assholes were not expending their troops and equipment in Iraq. The religious war (and that's what it is) will continue if we left Iraq tomorrow. Does anyone think these fanatical creeps will quit until destroyed? This is all they know. It is their job. Their chosen way of life. No more terror means no more money from their supporters. No more hero worship by misquided, backward animals who don't deserve to be called human. Bringing the fight and action to the middle east was the smartest thing we could do at this time in history. To keep talking about WMD is stupid.
