It's Bush's Fault

WASHINGTON (AP) - People in several heavily Muslim countries have lost some of their enthusiasm for Osama bin Laden and for violent acts like suicide bombings, especially in countries where there have been recent terrorist acts, international polling found.

Surveys conducted for the Pew Research Center for the People & the Press looked at attitudes of people living in Indonesia, Jordan Lebanon, Morocco, Pakistan and Turkey, all countries with Muslim majorities, as part of an international survey of 17 countries done this spring.

In Lebanon, the number of people who think the use of suicide bombing and other forms of violence is justified in defense of Islam has dropped from 73 percent in the summer of 2002 to 39 percent now. A decrease in this number also was seen in Morocco, which fell from 40 percent a year ago to 13 percent now, and in Pakistan and Indonesia. In Jordan, the number of people who feel such violence is justified has grown slightly; the number in Turkey remains very low.

Well, whaddaya know. I finally agree with the Left on something. It's Bush-Blair's fault!!!!! Why, if we hadn't gone into Iraq and Afghanistan, this may not have happened!

Oh, woops, can't forget the Joooooooooooooooooozzzz:

JERUSALEM (AP) - Israeli helicopters carried out air raids against four targets in Gaza early Friday, retaliating for a Palestinian rocket attack that killed a young Israeli woman.

One Israeli woman is killed in a terrorist attack, and the IDF responds with 4 air strikes.

52 people die on 7/7 in a terrorist attack and it gets an investigation.

Yes, I realize that the 7/7 terrorists were homegrown, and it wouldn't do for the RAF to start strafing the local neighborhoods.

But it's past time to stop pussyfooting around. Time to stop negotiating with the Mad Mullahs. Time to stop urging Syria. And time to stop rewarding Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, and any other Islamofascistpricktocracies.

Impossible, it's a peaceful religion that has been hijacked by a teeeeensie weensie tiny minority of extremists.

3 I suppose they're a little miffed that those they even quietly supported would kill their own. I'm sure many of them, the one's who romanticized the terrorist's plight, feel betrayed. Since it's become a reality that these Islamofascists don't care about them and that they could be next, they've had to reconsider. Good. It's a step in the right direction.

4 If you hate hard enough, you will eventually become that which you hate.

5 Actually, I'd like to see a little strafing and bomb practice on a certain mosque in Finsbury Park..

6 >>>>"I suppose they're a little miffed that those they even quietly supported would kill their own." Evil eventually turns on itself. It's like the orcs-- meat's back on the menu even when they kill each other.

7 It sure is telling about the level of civilization these "people" have attained though, that they are only starting to turn against murderers of innocents when they themselves become the targets. I still say we need another couple "Dresdens" to get our point across.
