Islamic Terrorist Attacks Turkish Court, Murders Judge

Although the BBC describes the man as a “gunman” the fact that he yelled, “Allahu Akbar!” as he opened fire leads me to believe that “Islamic Terrorist” is a better description. But even that description is getting a bit ordinary and meaningless.

BBC: One of the wounded judges had been criticized for ruling against teachers wearing Muslim headscarves, and had reportedly received death threats...

...The attacker was apparently carrying papers that identified him as a lawyer - although it is not known if these were genuine - and made it past security guards undetected.

He reportedly burst into a committee meeting of the Council of State, the top administrative court, at 1000 local time (0700 GMT) shouting "Allahu akbar" (God is great) as he fired his weapon.

Tansel Colasan, deputy head of the Council of State, said the attacker yelled "I am the soldier of God", and said he was carrying out the attack to protest against the court's decision on headscarves.

I’m working on a new term so far I have, “Crazy fools who follow Islamic clerics that preach directly from the Koran that cold blooded Murder and terrorism is an activity that is sanctioned by Allah. Because if you can’t organize yourself in a way to fight fair and win, random murder of innocents is the next best thing.” I’ll see if I can shorten that up into a new shorter and PC term like gunman.

1 Let me get this straight. This guy was a Muslim and he just walked into a courtroom and shot the judge? The Hell you say! HT/IM

3 Judge Colt, and his Jury of six, hands down his justice, with no appeal. These stories are like anaesthetic, almost numbing in their sheer amount and regularity.

4 Why would you need to shorten up that term? It sums things up and just flows off the tongue.

6 Now Dave, let me help you. Your statement could be misinterpreted. Try, "I hold an extemely unfavorable negative opinion of those who follow Islam due to the actions of thoses who perpetrate acts of terror based on their misguided (cough) interpretation of Islamic teachings."

9 I think you way to harsh on them. Beheadings, hanging, torture and kidnapping for ransom are just their weekly family out in the park happy days. A day to rest and to enjoy! And to thank god, for those wonderful days in live! Pump up the volume!!! http://www.flurl.com/item/Taliban_Beasts_in_Action_u_97021 And donÂ’t be shy; let me see those dancing steps! Ps. To not to be misunderstood; I am being cynical!

11 oh please, you all are kidding me right... So i'm a star wars fan and have stumbled into this website. so say the least i'm disgusted by majority of the comments... makes me ashamed of humankind, not only of the man who walked in, but of the apparent "peacemakers" who are just as guilty of dirtying their hands. lets take a look at our own history and grunt with pride at our hate. you first.

12 “Islamic Terrorist” isn't that a bit redundant?

13 Random murder of innocents is next best thing. Good Howie good. I will remember that one.
