1 The problem with Islamic Law is that it only applies to Muslims. If you kill a Christian, Jew, or non-Muslim, it is not murder. Hence rape of a kufir is not rape, thus anything goes when another person is not Muslim. Now you see why sharia law is so popular with the Muslims, as it gives them complete freedom to do whatever they want with non-Muslims. A terrible set of laws and uncivilized to say the least is how I would describe them.

3 Islamic law is civillized. Islamic law applies to everybody living in a country or under the rule of the muslim leader. Rather, one should play around with her and jest with kisses, touches and the like. Then, one sees that she is ready, prepared, and desirous of him, only then should he initiate intercourse. The wisdom of the Lawgiver in this is evident, for the woman derives pleasure as a man does. If he approaches her while she is unprepared, he may fulfill his need, but she may not, and would feel frustrated… Before penetration, one should say, Bismillah Allahumma Jannibna al-Shaytan, wa Jannib ish-Shaytanu ma Razaqtana, as has been authentically reported in the sunna… One should be careful to fulfill the rights of the wife with regards to intercourse, and to safeguard her religion. One should fulfill oneself [=orgasm] after she has achieved fulfillment, to be under the general rubric of the Prophet’s saying (Allah bless him and give him peace), “Allah is in the assistance of a servant as long as he is in the assistance of his fellow.” One should not have intercourse without covers… It is best to perform ghusl before sleeping after intercourse. Or, at least to do wudu and wash the private parts. [f: One should not, at the very least, leave washing the private parts.]

I guess it is better to be an oppressed Christian--forbiden, by law, to publicly carry out the 'Great Commission', than to be a Muslim heretic. Malik's Muwatta Book 36, Number 36.18.15: Yahya related to me from Malik from Zayd ibn Aslam that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, "If someone changes his deen - strike his neck!" The meaning of the statement of the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, in our opinion and Allah knows best, is that "if someone changes his deen, strike his neck!" refers to those who leave Islam for other than it - like the heretics and their like, about whom it is known. They are killed without being called to tawba because their tawba is not recognised. They were hiding their kufr and publishing their Islam, so I do not think that one calls such people to tawba, and one does not accept their word. As for the one who goes out of Islam to something else and divulges it, one calls him to tawba. If he does not turn in tawba, he is killed. If there are people in that situation, I think that one should call them to Islam and call them to tawba. If they turn in tawba, that is accepted from them. If they do not turn in tawba, they are killed. That does not refer as we see it, and Allah knows best, to those who come out of Judaism to Christianity or from Christianity to Judaism, nor to someone who changes his deen from the various forms of deen except for Islam. Whoever comes out of Islam to other than it and divulges that, that is the one who is referred to, and Allah knows best!

5 Amaad, Where do I start? Christians and Jews living under Muslim law, or sharia, if you prefer, were forced to pay the jizra, or a tax for the privilege of being a second-class citizen. They had to acknowledge the superiority of the Muslim, were not allowed to ride a horse or carry a weapon to protect themselves, and were required to go barefoot in many instances. No Christian religious processions were allowed, no Christian was allowed to talk to a Muslim about Jesus, and if a Christian were to say that Jesus was divine, he or she was killed. As in dead. If assualted by a Muslim, Christians were not allowed to defend themselves, but had to beg the Muslim attackers to stop. If they could not afford to pay the tax, they were sold into slavery or executed. Not good. Now you say this was a long time ago, but tell me, can a Christian talk to a Muslim about Jesus in Saudi Arabia? Can a Christian have a Bible in Saudi Arabia? Can a Christian give a Bible to a person in Indonesia, Malaysia, Libya, etc. Get the picture. No freedom of religion. No freedom, period. Do I need say anything about the rights of women? Honor killings? Forced to wear burkas, headscarfs, and I could go on and on. Need I? I thought not.

[9.30] And the Jews say: Uzair is the son of Allah; and the Christians say: The Messiah is the son of Allah; these are the words of their mouths; they imitate the saying of those who disbelieved before; may Allah destroy them; how they are turned away!
