1 Can you imagine this? There were people on the side of the road with grenades at and into the bus. The 15 they took hostage were ones who were not hurt and ambulatory. And you're right about that fate. I had heard earlier that most of the guys who were training for the guard, police, military couldn't even tell their families what they were doing out of fear that their families would be killed. This invisible enemy should be glowing so we and they can tell the difference between citizens and terrorists. Cindy

2 Now they're saying the bus was hit with an RPG. It'll probably be awhile before we know everything. But trained Iraqi National Guardsman should have fought off their attackers instead of giving in and giving up to the terrorists. I mean, how could they possibly have gone with these terrorists willingly without fighting them off with their newly trained skills? Cindy

3 True, especially since they know what will happen once they are captured. That's just like these defense classes. They tell you if at all possible, fight off your attacker and do NOT get into the vehicle...once you are inside, it is highly likely you will never come out of that car alive. So fight with the last ounce of your strength.

4 How can u expect these iraqi national guards can fight against these guerillas when american marines who train them are themselves vulnerable to attacks from iraqi guerilas. Without aerial bombing american marines could have never got success in iraq. The american ground forces played no major role in overthrowing the iraqi govt under Saddam
