Certainly glad that they released the women. I guess they figured public opinion would hurt them.
I don't think majority of people understand this terrorist/insurgent/foreign fighter thing. We are fighting more than terrorists and foreign fighters. It's really not as complicated as many would have us believe.
We are also fighting insurgents who are the majority.
Terrorists are both Sunni & Shia. Their's is more of a religious nutso thing. Probably backed by Iran and Ben Ladens nuts.
If we left the Iraqis to their own I believe the Sunnis would again come to power with help from the foreign/terrorist fighters. Average citizens are helpless against fanatics.
Why insurgents?
The insurgents are Sunnis.
The insurgents are Ba'athists. Saddam's Sunni boys.
Under Saddam they ran the country and terrorized the Shias.
The shias are the majority.
Democratic elections will bring the Shias to power.
Sunnis expect the Shias to exact revenge.
Therefore they are fighting to keep free elections from putting the Shia in power.
In fact they are scared shitless of the Shias coming to power.
There is no win for America in this thing. There is a win for the middle east and perhaps the rest of the world.
Sniping and sneakie bombings will continue. We always lose more soldiers to back shooting as opposed to all out fighting. That is their way.
The choice is leave and wait for inevitable all out war with the ISLAMOFACISTS.
Continue on and hope the average Iraqi has enough of terrorism and religious nuts. I doubt this will happen as they didn't have the will to resist Saddam.
Increase our troop levels and really take over. I mean get as mean as Saddam. Disarm everyone. Institute a death sentence for anyone possessing a weapon. And do it.
People on this blog have degrated those that in anger and disgust have said nuke em. I have never said such even though the liberal/terrorist excuse makers have accused me of saying it.
However, does anyone out there really think that Israel would lose before dropping the big one?
How about India? Will Hindus lose to ISLAM before using all their power?
If a middle eastern country is taken over by islamic fanatics and has nuclear weapons does anyone believe they wouldn't use them? Remember, the hateful, mean, fanatical idiots they always seem to choose for their leaders would be in charge.
Would the west, in particular the USA wait and let ISLAMOFACISTS strike first as they did with 9/11? Should they?
I believe in keep it simple stupid.
America and its allies are the best hope for the future middle east and perhaps much of the world.

America has a massively dissproportionate amount
of troops in Iraq. The whole of Iraq needs to be crawling
with democratic countries troops,Where the fuck are they?
They are not serious about tackling this problem.America
cannot be expected to take on these Islamic Faschist
pigs alone!I reckon we need a million troops at least to
get the stranglehold physicaly and psychologicaly here.
Otherwise its going to be a never ending gorilla war.
