Iran is the only country exporting caviar right now because they are the only ones who have implemented a CITES (Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Fauna and Flora) approved protection plan against poaching and over fishing. All other caviar producing countries couldn't care less about poaching and over fishing. Because of this they are not allowed to legally export caviar. Also, Iran has some of the best aqua culture projects in place right now to protect sturgeon from becoming extinct. Before you go bashing anyone you need to get your facts straight.
