I Am A Jedi, Like My Father Before Me

So, what does one do when given the keys to a blog such as this? Well, first off, one must pay homage to the host with the obligatory Star Wars quote (rendered above, as the title).

Then, one must provide the host with a visual reminder of why one was selected:

The next logical step, of course, would be to link to the blog I came from. Well, I already sort of did that on the post below. In the resultant excitement that came with being offered an opportunity to post here, I rushed in with what has been my most popular post to date at the homestead.

What I would rather do, instead of driving up my blog stats, as tempting as that is, is to provide links to the two things on my blog which provide me with the passion to keep blogging. They are two photo albums that yes, I own, but no, don't add to my blog stats, or to any ecosystem ranking.

First up, the images that the media refuses to reproduce, yet need to be seen, over and over again.

The Religion Of Peace Picture Page

Second, and inspired by Rusty on this very blog.

They Will Never Win A Pulitzer Picture Page

A prescient note; If the Hare Krishnas start beheading people and flying planes into buildings, I'll do a Flowers In The Airport Picture Page. If U.S. armed forces actually commit the atrocities they're accused of, I'll do a picture page on that too. However, don't belabor me with squeals of protest that I don't have a picture page filled with pictures of civilian casualties from "Bush's War." All wars have unintended consequences.

Plus, in my always ready to wipe out moonbat comments opinion, there's a difference between civilians being deliberately targeted, and those that aren't. We didn't start this war, they did. Back in 1979.

Don't like it? Tough. Here's the Koran verse that provides the text for the link to the ROPPP on my blog:

Fight those who believe not in Allah nor the Last Day, nor hold that forbidden which hath been forbidden by Allah and His Messenger, nor acknowledge the religion of Truth, (even if they are) of the People of the Book, until they pay the Jizya with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued. - The Koran 9:29

Stick that in your hooka and smoke it.

1 Welcome Vinnie. Do you play accordion? We need an accordion. And a 60mm mortar if you've got one lying around.

3 Right out of Orwell. "War is peace!" The MSM is proving Orwell to be a brilliant prognosticator. It has been happening for over 20 years. The MSM tells us black is white. To call the religion of murder, hate and butchery the "religion of peace" shows how bigoted the MSM has been the last few decades.

6 DING DING DING!!! We have a winner! Rod, give yourself a gold star bud, 'cause ya nailed it. One key tactic of propaganda and disinformation is to lie about everything, so that nobody can tell up from down eventually. Not only is the MSM unwilling to tell the truth, they are incapable, they don't know how. They may think they're telling the truth, but they no longer have the capacity to discern the truth due to their indoctrination. Most people in the media are probably decent people with sincere intent, but they have been brainwashed, and now do the work of their masters not knowing better. The more prominent ones, such as Dan Rather, et al, are the ones who most willingly propagate the party's dogma. The current situation is nothing less than the full fruition of plans set in motion by Lenin almost a hundred years ago, and propounded by Marx almost a hundred and fifty years ago.
