Homophobics...

...say alright! (AS conveniently on vacation)

UPDATE: Scott Talkington (First class blogger, let me add) reminded me that we homophobes win some and we lose some. In a democracy, judges are supposed to make the law.....right? Now, remind me again why the gay marriage ammedment thingy is not necessary?

UPDATE II: Scott Ott shows why fiction is sometimes the best indicator of truth.

1 A Washington (State) District Court has apparently ruled that the ban on gay marriage that was passed earlier is unconstitutional, although they've issued a stay until the State Supremes can rule. As I understand it something like four states have passed a constitutional amendment banning gay marriage and a half dozen or so more (including, I think, Oregon) have it on a ballot or in the legislature. I'm still not necessarily opposed to gay marriage. I just want to know what impact it has on family structure before we start a recursive process that could be irreversible. I had high hopes that France would opt for gay marriage so they could be the test case, but they wisely said "no dice."
