I mean, really, no offense to our readers from the Greatest Generation.
No Supreme Court Justice with two first names would have ever voted in favor of the Kelo decision, I can tell you that right now.
I'll leave the intelligent analysis to the other co-bloggers.
UPDATE 3: Noted lard eating fat bastard Michael (GET INNA MY BELLY!!!) Moore is....advertising? We'll, um, check back with him later, when he sobers up and realizes he's a Rich White Kapitalist.

I looked at DU.
(I always feel like I need a shower after having been there). That's the problem with these lefties. They're citing Roberts' background at DU for what reason? Because he upheld actual law? No. Because they wanted him to ignore law to make the defendent whose side they were on happy. That's what these weenies want. Since they can't get enough of their own kind in the House to pass legislation, they want the judiciary.
The left is hollering they want a "moderate". Moderate my butt. What about someone who will interpret the law as it's written? The constitution? The left wants legislation from the bench. They're so transparent.
Schumer is already circling the wagons. Within minutes of Roberts' nomination, Schumer was frothing at the mouth and getting it all over the microphone.

DSM: Better be careful. Just saw this story on Michael "Two all beef patties, special sauce, lettuce, cheese, pickles, onions ... on a sesame seed bun!" Moore's site:
"Should there be an investigation of the Downing Street Memo?"

DSM: If you're worried about "our kids and grandkids," then you should hope that he takes a negative stand against infanticide--unlike O'Connor.

Then he'll feel quite at home with the rest of the Liberals on the Court who voted in
Kelo to allow corporate interests to oust the little guy from his home so they can make a buck.

Carlos,
Let's be fair. We're getting screwed by the Libs and the Cons. There is an organism that oversees the false left/right paradigm. It uses both fronts to achieve its goal, which is to consolidate power globally and enrich themselves.
For example, Pharmaceutical Corporations have used both the Cons and the Libs to slam drugs through the FDA. They convinced the Cons that there was too much regulation. They also used the Gay Lobby to support more rapid commercialization of drugs by convincing them that anti-AIDS drugs were taking too long to be approved. Corporate America plays both sides like a fiddle.
If proles like us were smart, we'd join forces, we'd say fuck it, we declare bankruptcy. We owe nothing.
Why is it, that everytime there is a war, we get stuck with the bill and the Halliburtons of the world profit from our exsanguination?
I'd be more inclined to support a war that enriches the average American. Let's tell China, Japan, Korea and all those who hold 'our' debt to fuck off. When this happens, it will be a sign that this truly is a government 'for the people, by the people'.
You in or out?

That's one thing we might agree on. I'm looking at the back of my iPod right now and it says "Made in China". Our elites have sold us down the river.

Carlos,
Dang it! Finally we've found some common ground!
Let's use this as launch point and broaden it from here.
Easy does it.
If we 'proles' can find a common platform, we can easily take our country back, 'like a horse shaking off flies'-(The Prophet, Orwell, "1984".

And when we "shake off the flies" we'll get what? Jacobins and guillotines? or Bolsheviks and gulags? the final "true" utopia?
Instead we should simply hold our politicians accountable. We have a pretty good system, we're just not using it because most people don't give a shit.

Carlos:'And when we "shake off the flies" we'll get what?'
Carlos,
We keep our Constitutional Republic, declare bankruptsy and get out of debt. Shedding the yoke of debt will greatly lower the tax burden.
Currently, the American people shoulder their own debt and to an extent the debt of the world. When the IMF forgives the debt of 3rd world nations, who do you think picks up the slack? We do. Another example, we the American people, will pay $277,000 for each Israeli settler that is relocated. They use us like a credit card with no limit.
We have become the beasts of burden to the globalists. They trick us into thinking that it is for our own good by offering welfare programs and by 'stirring the pot' and producing mafiosi type 'hits' like 9-11 and 7-7 to scare us into paying 'protection money' to their racket. Enough!

YBP,
I just want to point out that O'Connor never supported
infanticide, because as I have stated before, they were not
infants yet.

Okay, Butch. She supported tissue-icide. Still there are millions of people not alive today because of it.
