2 What's the matter, Rusty?? Having a bad day? I know you post and are a guest host on other websites, which ones I have no idea, but what made you say today "Screw You Guys, I'm going Home!" ??? Need a partner? Too much to do?? What blew your cork today?? Just curious. I know that this is probably not the right place for this and if not, you may remove it - not sure if people actually comment here or on the links you send them to or what BUT I would like to bring up the fact that our NATIONAL GUARDSMEN AND WOMEN and RESERVISTS from all branches of the service, ARE LOSING THEIR LIVELIHOODS, THEIR HOMES, SOME EVEN THEIR FAMILIES because the government is PLUCKING them right out of society, disregarding the purpose they play in their society, to serve their country, to protect American, to fight for us and what do we do and what does the government do to help these soldier's out. I really think an AWARENESS has to be made regarding these individuals and that ALL OF US and our GOVERNMENT owe them more than just a debt of GRATITUDE, they deserve our HELP. And AWARENESS OF THEIR SITUATION IS UTMOST. I'd also like to see all the groups out there helping our fellow people - not just Florida who needs our donations desperately, but all around this country. Why can't we FOCUS on the GOOD things we do FOR A CHANGE?? Then let me know what I can do to make you NOT say "Screw you guys, I'm going home!" I realize you are getting ready for school - teaching college or higher ups and there's a lot on your mind and this can't take the place of everything when you have so much to do. I don't know who you are, or where you are from, or where you teach. But when you get disgusted, try not only going home, but find a comfort movie or a comedy and sit back and relax. If you're married and have kids, snuggle up and appreciate what you have and in the meantime, consider yourself lucky. I have no one and it's very lonely and someone as chronically ill and disabled as I am living - if that's what you want to call living - on $584 a month for 17 years now, life is very difficult for me. Consider yourself blessed. At least you have a family and a life worth living, so be grateful for that and protect that with all your might, because it makes you what you are. I really do hate listening to people blogging who make no sense whatsoever and I scream at the computer "SPEAK ENGLISH" but we have people to take care of, including ourselves and those who are losing more than we can imagine. "Some gave some; some gave all" and we never forget them. I don't know whom you are sending the screw you guys, too, but it can't be this gimp - I have had my own hell, some worst that another. Consider yourself Lucky, Rusty, and consider yourself lucky. 9

3 Lucky, consider yourself Rusty. Consider yourself Rusty.

4 Re:What's the matter, Rusty?? Having a bad day? , etc. What. The. Fuck?

Posted by: Bill from INDC Journal at August 18, 2004 10:15 AM (yZMsp)

5 No, no Bill - it's a new Kid's Game. Not "What. The. Fuck?" But rather, "Fuck. The. What?" or even "The. Fuck. What?" or "The. What? Fuck."

6 Was it something I said? Or is the family visit sending you up the water tower with a rifle?

7 Ya know, there is nothing wrong in my asking what he is so upset!!! When he posts a line that says "SCREW YOU GUYS, I'M GOING HOME!" I don't know what the second part came from but there is absolutely NO REASON WHATSOEVER for you other guys saying "what the fuck??" in every form. Now that is just plain stupid - when I actually care about Rusty and why he just posted that one line - which does not link to anything, so it seems to me he is obviously upset about something and I'm sticking out my hand of friendship to someone who just might need it. (like I said post 2 is an error taken from the first post and don't know how that happened) SO WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU WHO MADE THOSE DISGUSTING REMARKS OF WTF??? ~C

8 BTW, Jane's website and posts do not link back here and if you hit the back button, it still refuses to go back to your site.

9 FBA, I don't know about you, but I'm taking the "Fuck. The. What?" as an oblique reference to Jessica Cutler.

Posted by: Bravo Romeo Delta at August 18, 2004 12:10 PM (9X/fX)

10 FBA, Just as a guess, I also think Rusty was being a bit tounge-in-cheek, although I'm sure appreciates the sentiment behind your inquiry.

Posted by: Bravo Romeo Delta at August 18, 2004 12:11 PM (9X/fX)

11 FBA: "Screw you guys, I'm going home" is a line from South Park. It permeated Rusty's old site and is just a way of saying "see you later."

12 This might be helpful.

Posted by: Bill from INDC at August 18, 2004 02:59 PM (yZMsp)

13 why pick on me?? I was actually concerned you asses!!

Posted by: firstbrokenangel at August 18, 2004 04:13 PM (t0rjm)

14 Thanks Bill - that was funny! Appreciate the humor! ~C

15 Yeah, Rusty, WTF? Don't you know you have a public duty to only blog morally uplifting themes that will help spread the news to the gulags about all that BusHitlerMcSmirkyChimp and his evil Sith Masters at Bechtelhalliburtonharkencarlylegroup are doing to supress America? The memory, she's seared---seared!---in my memory, more so than the mental image of a $10 pegging from Jessica Cutler on Christmas Eve in Phnom Penh! Sheesh. Some people have no respect---that's why we are paying you the big bucks in subscription fees to read MyPetJawa. The next thing you're going to tell us is that "Rusty Schackleford" isn't your REAL name! PS--why isn't "blogging in your underwear from the basement" one of the seven deadly sins?

Posted by: Steve the Llamabutcher at August 18, 2004 04:22 PM (nRK3i)

16 Steve, Blogging from the basement in your underwear is not a deadly sin. However, blogging in your underwear at work is usually considered grounds for termination in most work environments.

Posted by: Bravo Romeo Delta at August 18, 2004 05:28 PM (9X/fX)

17 Too funny. Steve, why can't you change LLAMABUTCHERS to something else. I will not visit your site - you see, I raise and breed LLAMAS!!! he he he ~C

Posted by: firstbrokenangel at August 19, 2004 12:45 AM (t0rjm)

18 Cindy, thanks for your concern. But Bill and GCL have it right, this was just a way of me saying 'later'. It's one of those inside references that only SP fans get. And to Bill, GCL, Steve, BRD, Brian, & Gordon--thanks for defending my honor--now cut Cindy some slack.

Posted by: RS at August 19, 2004 09:56 AM (JQjhA)

19 Huh? When did I pick on her? and I resent the accusation of defending your honor!

Posted by: Brian B at August 19, 2004 12:32 PM (OnnW3)

20 I accused you of defending my honor--unjustly.

Posted by: RS at August 19, 2004 12:40 PM (JQjhA)

21 If you don't desist in these slanderous accusations, I shall begin telling peope what a decent chap you are!

Posted by: Brian B at August 19, 2004 01:00 PM (OnnW3)

22 Blogging from work in your underwear a termination offense? Dude, haven't you ever heard of tenure?

Posted by: Steve the Llamabutcher at August 19, 2004 01:50 PM (c5Jw4)

23 Gotcha! It's kinda funny how much conversation went on just this one post, tho. Now everybody knows my real name! I hope you enjoyed your time off - you deserve it. Hugs, ~C

Posted by: firstbrokenangel at August 19, 2004 05:00 PM (t0rjm)

24 Dude, haven't you ever heard of tenure? As in, "Odds are 9 in tenure gonna get fired!"

Posted by: Brian B at August 19, 2004 05:07 PM (OnnW3)

25 too funny!
