Fatwas Issued Against Guest Bloggers

Wow, is this site still up?? Are people actually still reading it?? The fact that My Pet Jawa is not teets up says a lot about those who CMA (Covered My Ass) during my long hiatus.

Where was I? I could tell you--but have you ever read Confessions of a Dangerous Mind? If I told you, well, you know what I'd have to do to you.

I don't have the time or money to properly thank every one in the manner that they ought to be thanked. If the world were just each one of my guest bloggers would get $100, an extrak 5k hits, 10 links, and a date with a supermodel for every post they put up in my absence.

First, a huge thanks to Chad at In the Bullpen. I've known he was an excellent blogger for a while, now I can call him a friend. He posted so much that an initial check of my e-mails shows that a lot of people think that this is his blog. As veteran bloggers know, 80% of blog success is volume and tenacity. Chad provided that and then some. Thanks Chad.

Shout outs go to Interested Participant for coming in a not so close second in the number of posts he put up. What he lacked in volume he made up in quality. Thanks man.

Gordito the Cranky Neocon also put up some posts. For some reason though on inspection of the Jawa fridge I can't find the cheese. Who moved the cheese!!!!!!!!!

The keys have been given to these fine bloggers and I don't plan to ask for them back any time soon.

If you don't have In the Bullpen, Interested Participant, and Cranky Neocon on your blogroll I will personally call the Mullahs and order up a fatwa on your ass!!

Now if you'll excuse me I have to run through three weeks worth of spam. How did so many companies find out about my less than adequate lite saber size?

2 Rusty, I guess you'll just have to call the Mullah's and order up a real Fatwa on my ass because I will not be adding them to my blogroll. And please do something about the length/archiving. You know I have a desktop that's called 'Frank" but geezus, it takes FOREVER to download your page and comments, then more forever if I comment. It is very frustrating. You were gone 6 weeks - I get that kind of mail every friggin day. Just hit delete. Cindy

3 I've noticed it too! Sometimes I get a "forbidden access to this site" message as well. Then the next time I go in, it's fine. Ah well, the Ruster's back, let's give him a few days to get back in the swing of things....

4 I've never gotten any kind of error message when trying to hit the site. As for being gone 6 weeks? Please. He was gone three.

6 Welcome back Rusty. Your temp. replacements did a fine job but it's great to have you back so I don't have to get all the beheading threats. You are actually a much better Islamofascist basher than I - so you deserve far more beheadings than I do. We're back in business again so militants watch your As___. Welcome Back.

8 I discovered some of those blogs because they were guest blogging for you, and added them to my blogroll and regular reading list. Seems like a win-win for everybody. Welcome back!

10 Well, welcome back, Rusty and a few comments here about other comments, in an effort to help: the site has Macromedia Flash installed or otherwise implemented and some of the more restrictive security programs some of us users have in place either block Flash and/or even prevent certain websites from loading if it is perceived as being a problem as per whatever security settings someone/anyone has in place on their browser and installed via security programs. I don't enable Flash, due to some security cautions from a combination of what I use (Norton Professional Internet Security, Spybot Search&Destroy, Spyware Blaster, all three of which have various programs and file extensions blocked and/or request user permission before they'll allow a page to access, and/or access the page but then not enable Flash to run unless you then install it, which I never do... Just saying, that, the presence of a default Flash program on the webpage may be causing some users to experience problems. I know that I have to work around the Flash program when I visit here each and every time by DENYING Macromedia Flash TO BE INSTALLED (it wants to install by default, I don't want it to but I have to also go through those steps first before I can access your page in full). Just an idea, maybe consider removing whatever on your webpage uses Flash, by default and then make a link to whatever it is that you want to use Flash, to some other page other than your main site page.
