Golldang, there are so many tangents to go off on here. Where to start?
First, it is fitting the story is being told in "The Australian". While I was living there, it seems Aussies couldn't get enough of the Original. Everytime someone wanted to get something quick KFC was suggested and everyone capitulated.
Second, one time while taking a side trip to famous Mena, Arkansas a buddy of mine and I stopped off at KFC. As I went to get a refill of my drink, smoke started billowing out of the vent just above the beverage dispenser. As quickly mentioned this to the manager on duty the place was filling with smoke and nobody was moving - NOBODY. The scariest part was the managers reaction: "Oh man! Not again!" The fire department quickly showed up, but we got the heck outta there.
Moral of the two stories? KFC's burn REAL GOOD. That's why they torched it in Karachi - 'cause it be easy.

I have this friend who watches a few minutes of STACKED while his wife is putting the kids to bed. Just before his wife comes back down stairs, he quickly changes the channel back to sports center. Is this guy a wuss?
