IM: Whether they were being chased or not, people don't instinctively run from police if they haven't done anything wrong. And then they try to hide out in a high voltage area? And people riot over their stupidity?
After reading several accounts of the riots and the descriptions of the tough neighborhood this took place in with "soviet-style" public housing and gang activity, I'm surprised France has, so many times, had the nerve to criticize us.
